El Caballero content belonged with the El Caballero video. Not necessary to complain about Maaco corporate twice. I was waiting for: "Here on the door jams, you can't see the difference between the old and new paint". "It is a flat color, but look how shiny they got it on the roof". If we are living in the age of "Here's a car I bought, I've dropped it at Maaco, it is headed to auction", it would be nice to hear the time consumed and the dollars involved.

The old Mercedes i'm a fan of old cars and i'm not old,my old one was a Bmw 520i with 2.5cc gas from 1989 (my year) 2 years just maintance and a battery. Keep this old cars saved,if i was from your country i would buy that 240d all day long,what a tank, i loved that blue too. Love your dog- then again I love pretty much every dog except the dangerous ones- and usually not their fault but their owners. And what a cool trailer! Ingenious design to cantilever over- they should all be like that! Oh- and had a 1972 114 which is the model before this but basically the same underpinnings- amazing for it's day, quiet cab at speed, smooth, 4 wheels discs, fully independent suspension. Mine was a 220 which was a bit underpowered but the gearing was great - would cruise at 80 all day. Had a mate with a 6 cylinder 280 SE, which is a 115 I think- awesome and fast for it's day.

Would liked to have seen a walk-around looking at the paint on the Mercedes. It looked really good I can't believe there was no overspray or other problems with an $885 Maaco paint job. And that really is the best car I've seen you handle even if it isn't the nicest.

I have never had a Macco paint job but I have seen a lot of shady work they have put out. I know from experience also, so I know what to look for. I have worked in a paint shop doing prep, spray and detail and inspection. I'm glad the paint turned out great though. I always advise people to inspect and look at jobs that a place has done before just dropping a car or truck off with anyone. You get what you pay for when it comes to paint jobs unless you know the person and they are making you a friend's deal or something. Sure it's not rocket science, but a good bit of time, work and prep goes into a great paint job. That's why a good paint job isn't cheap.

I use straps with my trailer but 2 in front and 2 at rear after seeing straps break at the auction. Its too late when a car rolls off while your driving.

The locks you have on your trailer are only as good as the key cylinder. After watching many videos about picking locks, it would take someone with average skills about 2 minutes to pick the lock on the tow hitch and wheel lock. A better suggestion would be a GPS tracking device hidden somewhere on your trailer.
