Rory is right, the biggest drop off is from Stones to the next CB than it is from Bellingham to other CM. It's not about ranking "Who is England's best player", which is how everyone else ranked it. Haaland or KDB might be seen as City's best player, but they'd cope more without them than if Rodri was gone for 6 months.

2 months ago, no one was mentioning Bellingham as no.1 Suddenly, he joins Madrid, scores some goals and he is above Kane and Saka who have been the ones doing it for England for years. John Stones - Not the best England player (far from it), but if he's injured, I can't trust any other center back to do a decent job, so England's defense will be weaker than it is right now. 2. Kane - Attacking-wise, your next best option right now is Wilson. As good as Wilson is, he isn't even nearly half as good as Kane. 3. Rice - The metronome of the team.
