I can't help but cry everytime I get to the ending of this anime, idc what anyone thinks lol. The music in itself is good but the whole show was just so well done, sure there were minor flaws but it all boiled up to such an epic ending and lots of characters. Even side-characters such as Orange ended up being really awesome.

It probably hurt Lelouch as well. He had to shoot his own half sister but he realized with what happened with Shirley and Mao he couldn't turn back when someone he cared about died or someone he knew was affected by his actions. He knew he had to keep his followers somehow and what happened to Euphie was an accident on Lelouch's part. In the end it worked out, even if it did cause a very saddening death in the series :(

Innocent day is so perfect imo. It first evokes the nostalgy of a past you know you won't find again, the memory of a lost innocence. But then the hope of finding these moments again appears and this hope is raising to transform itself in willpower. You want to fight like lelouch to build the future world where everyone will be able to leave in the same happiness of innocence.

Actually, he couldn't have gotten the Code from his father. The one giving the Code has to agree to give it to the one receiving it, or there has to be a contract, which, in any case, there was not one between Lelouch and his father. If Lelouch received the Code, it would have been from C.C./C2. Which would make C.C./C2 mortal and Lelouch immortal. This may be possible because C.C. told Kallen, "I'm going to stop just accumulating experiences and start living."

I believe that the one you are talking about is just a minor character that does not even have a name. Might have appeared in some shots in the anime.

Nobody's pissed about anything. Lelouch is dead, but in fan-fiction... Lelouch is alive. With so many clues and yada yada, obviously, i don't want Lelouch to die. I actually wanted a love story-like season with Lelouch and C2 after he managed to "fake" his death. But that again is just me, a fan, "wishing" for such things. I am not disappointed with the actual ending... i do believe Lelouch's death was necessary.
