Fun fact: cats have no collar bone. If they can fit their head through, the body is coming with. If catnap's head can fit in those vents, Ryan would be dead as hell.

They do have a collar bone, it's just a floating collarbone which means it's held by muscle and ligaments rather than attached to the sternum like ours is. Also CatNap might be able to fit but he's gonna have a very hard time getting through there.

To be fair, the games were in development at the same time. Ruin just happened to release first. But I don't want another "innocent sounding character is actually bad" twist.

@@GmmBeast I actually am not sure if the prototype is gonna be a big bad at this point. There are a lot of questions and oddities that don't necessarily line up for it. Yes he did plan the Hour of Joy, but he also seems to have protected the children. All of the orphans are still missing. My guess is the prototype lured us back to the facility to help put down the experiments that have gone mad in the intervening years (mommy, catnap, huggy, etc.) And wants us to recuse the kids he's been keeping safe down in the labs. Why he's collecting the bodies of dead experiments, I have no idea. But we know Poppy couldn't have called us to the factory because she was in the case when we arrive. And she was captured by Mommy Long Legs when Kissy helps us through a dead end before leaving. There is also the question of why Huggy gave us a key to progress past the lobby in chapter 1. Where did he get the key? Why didn't he just attack immediately like he did in the Hour of Joy tape shows? (Of course that is for the game to take place, but why storywise did he wait?) And then when Huggy Does attack us all that succeeds in is herding us towards where Poppy is located.

Here a theory: Ollie might actually be the prototype. Ollie never has shown himself. Plus, the prototype can change voices. Another thing, there was one line Ollie said that stood out to me "That shrine; did it scare you? If you thought THAT was scary, just wait until you see the REAL thing."

The only reason I don't think the Prototype is Ollie is because Poppy Knows Ollie somehow. I do find it strange that Ollie talks like dora the explorer and there is no way that Ollie is human considering its been years and they have nothing to eat, but we'd need an explanation for Poppy and Ollie being on good terms if Ollie is Prototype

The most unsettling part in my opinion is dogday' s death scene, imagine getting your insides eaten and not being able to control your actions, he was already cut in half,his screams were horrifying, "Oh no...OH NO LEAVE ME ALONE," it the sudden realization that he will die by those "things" and it sends shivers down my spine

The Hour of Joy is so reminiscent of Lobotomy Corporation's Third Trumpet scenario. Every single employee dead, trapped under an underground facility with no way out, killing machines and entities roaming, unrestrained. That was absolutely wonderful, horrifyingly beautiful, even. *Edit I saw the full Kissy video today, and yes she did kill those guards. Regardless of the Prototype influencing her, she has blood on her hands like the others. Admittedly this does make me sad, as i was hoping that she'd be purely good; but that doesn't make for a good character does it? I'm leaving the original post on here, so that there's context for the commenters. 2:17:32 Something that i found interesting here, is that Kissy doesn't look like she killed the guards, just knocked them out. It seems to be that the only thing that she was interested in was getting away. Those arms of hers seem pretty flimsy, and both hers and Huggy's way of attacking seemed to just be through their mouths/teeth. (In game) I've never seen Kissy show her teeth to anyone, though if we can judge the sounds correctly.... if the prototype did get her she at least put up one hell of a fight. I'm hoping that they just got an arm or something..... but we'll find out eventually

The way they went about this chapter is honestly such an upgrade compared to the previous ones. This one feels genuinely scary, that sequence with the radios with Catnap stalking the player was actual nightmare fuel, the way you can see him peeking through the door when you go pick up the phone, the way you can see his glowing eyes at the end of the hallway before he moves away (39:45), it's that kind of horror where you don't realize what's truly there until it's already seen you, and that's terrifying

I love this chapter so much! DogDay said he was the last of the Smilling Critters, which implied they were killed by Prototype. Yet according to all those voice lines from the mascot stands, we can see a disparity. Where the pig, the unicorn and one other actually fall on the side of Prototype, whereas others that have screaming in the last of they're voicelines retaliate against Prototype. But in the end, they all just get eaten. That explain why there are only a handful of toy left in the factory. They all get eaten by the Prototype

Dude, they knocked it out of the park this chaper. The voice acting was on point, and I loved the whole Bioshock vibes going into the playcare. Like it had me feeling all sorts of chills. I will say whoever played Elliot Ludwig was phenomenal, you genuinely felt like the character was invested and excited about what he'd done he really cared. For a little clarification, marie Payne is one of the characters who sadly was experimented on by the scientists at Play Co. She is the one inside of mommy longlegs, aka experiment 1222 And with catnap, his story is sorta tragic as well, Experiment 1188 aka Catnap aka Theodore Grambell His main purpose before the *hour of joy* was to be in charge of the children, he would release his red gas so that the children would go to sleep and the gas would help them calm down and behave but before mr grambell became the monster catnap he tried to sneak out of play time co he stole some grabpacks, and some other things but he suffered a horrifying accident. All this was due to the prototype experiment 1008 and now when the hour of joy occurred he attacked his friends and other toys all because he thought the prototype was a god his savior, he would punish other toys if they didn't join him and would be called a heretic
