About the third game, I'm sure the "Scepter Foundation" can be clocked as an homage to the SCP foundation. But aside from that, I did look into possible portal or cabin anomalies but so far not that I know of. So I would say the game has something to do with extraterrestrials. Alice (as named in the letter during the school tape) probably visited the cabins at some point in their life, where they played a game of tag with a friend/classmate that led them to the discovery of teleportation in those cabins. I'll get back to this in a while and proceed with the next tapes. Years later, Alice works in a foundation dealing with anomalies and the foundation seemingly got their hands on the cabin. Some shenanigans ensued, and an entity (most likely the looker) has caused enough trouble caused the sector of the foundation observing the cabins to be on lockdown. The guy in the abandoned building is murdered, alongside the other guy in the small fenced off building. In the midst of this chaos, Alice headed back to test the cabins. I am not sure for what reason, but I'ld like to theorize that it was to escape the entity that had followed her (implied by a door closing). While testing the cabins, Alice remembers from their memories the game of tag and so tries opening all but one. Why Alice did not try this in the first place, as well as the rest of the foundation, may be because Alice and their classmate did not try opening all the doors but one as they teleport about, plus the foundation was strict on not leaving any doors open after a teleportation. Here, they teleport to the missing cabin which is in a beehive like structure, disappearing with a message left behind. We can also now assume, that Alice is not in earth per se, maybe an alternate world or even dimension. Here, we can assume that the entity is extraterrestrial in origin, as suggested by the weird message left in the beehive room. Most likely, the entity is using the abandoned building's radio tower to send a message to communicate with some outer beings, meaning either an invasion is on the way or they are simply there to observe. But once Alice reads the message, they are teleported to another room with another cabin. They tried to approach the cabin, yet alas trapped themselves in a bear trap and gets surrounded by what we could assume would be the same entities as the looker. Finally, it was revealed that Alice was hung to the ceiling watching the tapes over and over again, relishing at the events of what led them here in the first place. So why was Alice hung? Probably because they knew too much about the entities and thus were kept captive to keep the knowledge about them from coming out. After all, the foundation was looking forward to cashing out on the cabins' teleportation. And if they knew about the entities, well who knows what would have happened. Therefore, I would say that the game was a deep dive on Alice's woes on being trapped. Stuck in torment, they could not do anything but relieve those memories. Yet it is futile, for they know that they could never go back to their original dimension. So they just repeat and repeat, till the VHS tapes broke, and they are left there for eternity with nothing but specks of fading memories. Other than that, I would say that the game may be a metaphor for a person who is losing their memories like an elderly person with dementia, slowly withering with age. Or maybe for a person on their deathbed, reliving their final memories till they pass. Either way, it could be a take on how we like to "return" or relive memories, in a way that pertains to the "I wish I could have..." or "If I could just turn back time I would..."

Ryan’s channel is possibly the most consistent KZbin channel in the world, every video gets around 245k views no matter what. The one thing I feel is that because it’s so consistent, the same ratio, or group of people is watching his videos, which is why no progress is visible, he grows so slow compared to other KZbinrs but works 2x as hard, but slow and steady wins the race!

Ryan should definitivly play Iron Lung, in short, the game places you in small space of a submersible called the "Iron Lung", which your sent in too an ocean of blood on a moon. As to not spoil anything, the story is simplified at the start of the game.

I won't even complain how long Ryan gets back for more 3 random games, 1st game (Lidar.EXE) kinda a short game real creativity along with puzzle which was 1 and completely ended up with a jumpscare, 2nd game (Luggage) also short but devastating how the man was the murderer and ended himself in the ocean 3rd game (Unsorted VHS) now this game is really out of world by ending up the Player you witness. The first 8-BitRyan video I watched was the I Am Bread years ago, and here we are in 2022. It's crazy to see how far you've came, and I'm glad even after all this time you still have that creative spark :) Also game recomendation time; not sure if you've seen or played yet, but there's this amazing Backrooms game called "The Complex: Found Footage" I can say it's probably by far the BEST Backrooms game I've seen yet: the creator abslutely nails the ambience and presentation, so it would be awesome to see you experience it sometime :)

For the last game one detail jumped out at me based on real-life teleportation theory. At 32:13 numerous identical humanoids come out of the darkness, despite how the game referenced that the technology was alien in origin. One commonly believed theory is that a singular individual can’t actually be teleported, but instead a duplicate of that person would be made in the target teleport destination. Problem being that both copies would believe they were the original as they were a perfect copy. In some teleportation theory, the duplicate created by each attempt to teleport would collect in one location. So if the main character was teleporting them self countless times, as it appears they did in the past, that could mean hundreds of duplicates or more were created and abandoned together unknowingly. So they group of people who come towards the character at 32:13 could be those many copies. Plus if this is the situation, the copies would have figured out what was happening in the meantime and would have a right to be angry/seek a means to stop the main character.

The LIDAR game is a really cool concept, I think it could even work well as a backrooms concept for level 6 of the backrooms which are said to be pitch black. This could be the only way of navigating the surroundings.
