While I appreciate the tech behind this 8D thing, I don't think it translates into the metal genre very well. With so many layers in metal, the "fullness" of a song is ruined. The bass and guitar need that mesh to get the full affect. With it split up like this it diminishes the "feels". It's awesome for people who want to learn the songs though. It splits it up nice so you can hear the individual instruments.
