Tires are the Baja Pro XS, the street legal version of the Baja Pro X. It’s what JConcepts’ Tusks and Injora’s Swamp Stompers (say that 5 times fast) are based on. I think these are the first actual licensed Baja Pro XS in any scale

I have five 1/10 crawlers/trail trucks, but with work and family life taking up most of my time my two TRX4Ms have quickly become my favorite rigs for a quick crawl fix. I’m def interested in this one too! I hate mud, but might just like it a bit more with one of these. All of my Traxxas vehicles have been my most reliable and headache free rigs

@@willyjimmy8881 I have. It was neat, the two speed transmission was pretty cool, but the TRX4m is definitely built to be more durable, and the oil filled shocks and longer wheelbase make a big difference.

I took a double take at the thumbnail "Didn't they release this a while ago?" before I realized this was 1/18th. This looks awesome, I run the stock gearing on my bronco because crawl one is slooooow and I haven't burned a motor yet. I think 1/24th to 1/18th is great for scale builds, because they don't have any performance anyway and you can fit more on the shelves 😆

Their performance is scaled down. I run insane lines on a 24 but they are specific lines. I find more spots to crawl with the smaller trucks in my area so my preference is easy.

Honestly on clean rocks a trx-4m with heavier front wheels is pretty good, but on a forest trail some pinecones can stop it. Great looking and very portable but it's a very different experience to a 1/10th, but so is a SCX6 (probably, I don't have one)

This little truck was awesome straight out of the box! 1st day, I put steel wheels slightly higher with S5 rubber and soft foam. Added brass wheel weights and brass dif covers. It goes as many places as my $1700 fully upgraded Bronco TXRM! It is a little tippy going sideways, but I'll make it better. Quick fix for light seeping through body is black electric tape placed around headlight buckets. I highly recommend this 1/18! I put it in my bike bag and hit the trails and rocks.

I think it really compliments the 'm' line and goes with the same philosophy Traxxas used with the TRX-4. Clear windows, though, what was Traxxas thinking, lol! I think the increased ground clearance will outweigh any concerns about a high cg.

Living in northern Canada, That spring crust with the trx4 traxx is sooo satisfying. I get it they build up with snow in the powdery conditions, and they bind if trying to climb a vertical obstacle or something, but some vehicle track setups will do the same! The tracks kick ass!

I just got one of these a few days ago. I'm very happy with it. Already have a low gear kit, longer shocks and a brass transmission mount on the way. Btw the light bar comes apart and has provisions for wiring and LED bulbs

I have tracks for my scx24 with a godzilla motor and they are sick. On snow and super soft terrains tires just can't compete period but the tracks also can't get over some of the simple obstacles on my little indoor course. Tires are more practical for the most part but when you have too much snow to do almost anything it's nice having some tracks to play with

I see fools on other pages buying this truck and then lowering it and basically making it the non High Trail version. Which they could have bought in the first place. I have one of these and I love it. It's not meant to be a "rock crawler" it's an obstacle stomper. Sheesh people learn to apply the right tools to the right job. Great video man. Thanks. The chassis looks quite a bit longer but the servo and ESC look like they are set lower in the chassis.

It is a longer chassis and I think the shock towers set lower to the chassis to get the lift. I don’t think the shocks are longer. They don’t have the parts lists up yet I could be wrong
