As the owner of a 1:1 '79 F-150 Ranger Lariat (sorry that's a mouthful) I am so glad to see this. Called my local hobby shop and ordered on as soon as I heard. I'm going to need that pushbar and probably the light kit as well. My truck is rosegold (Vaquero) and brown so the brown one is perfect. Great review as always Matt! Keep up the great work.

I like what they have done with this platform. What's interesting about this truck is that you could have a more accurate Bigfoot replica than the one they have released. I wonder if that is in the works for this?

Awesome looking product. With that being said I was wondering why on the from and rear bumpers there are the Chevy “bow tie” with ford written in the middle. Was that the logo for that era of truck?

It is a beautiful ol ford, I my self am a chevy guy but this blue f150 ranger xlt is way good lookin with the slot mags and the double nerf bar! Sweet

Traxxas really knocked that one out of the park, in which they normally do honestly. I love my trx4 k5 blazer, which is now a rc4wd k10 hardbody. They’re awesome crawlers, thanks for showing us the review keep up the good work.

This generation of trucks ran from '73-'79. Came in all sorts of trim packages including the Ranger, custom, and camper special. The Ranger is has always been and will always be my absolute favorite truck ever made or will ever be made.

One thing I can say about Traxxas is that they do a great job with bodies. Other than the blacked out stickers, this body looks amazing! I am not a fan of the lifted trucks so I may try to pick up the body whenever that becomes possible and see what I can do with it!
