So, I am grateful that I can sing like this, and I am happy that I can sing to you all.” (My guess is that she is glad that she can comfort those who are going through a difficult life with her own songs.) “Even though life is difficult, we must endure and live for the people who care about us. Nevertheless, we must dream and live, and we must live loving each other.” While Singing 'you raise me up', she said it like the above. I think her songs aren't just about flashy vocal techniques. She heals people through song... I think she is the world's best music healer and storyteller.😊😊

Now, this is a very emotional performance. Idk how others felt, however, as far as I am concerned, this particular one was more into that mood of "emotional", "gospel''. Idk, I think that Sohyang felt this more too. It also felt like I was listening and watching a Christian who has been through rough times full of challenges and has matured and became stronger in her beliefs and faith to God.💕💕💕 She really has made this song hers! It's interpreted very well.

영상 편집을 마치며... 소향님 노래는 어루만지는 힘이 있다 공연중 언급을 했는데 오늘 위로의 노래를 많이 한다고.. 풀리지 않는 실타래 같은것들이 가슴 속 하나씩은 있을것이다 '솔직히... 우리...쉽지 않잖아요...사는게...' 이 멘트후에 You raise me up 부르는데... 많은 분들이 눈물을 훔치고 있었다. 나도 그랬고... 아픔은 아픔을 겪었던 사람이 어루만질때 진정한 그 속을 어루만지며 위로하는 것이다 소향님과 그 노래가 그러하다... 향님 말처럼 쉽지 않은것이 삶이고 인생이다... 그래도 버티며 살고 나를 보는 사람들로 살고 그럼에도 불구하고 꿈을 꾸며 살아가고 서로 사랑하며 살아가야죠 After editing the video... My favorite version of this song is in IS2 but Sohyang never sang that version again. She sings this version all the time and it was never my cup of tea. Not sure if she changed it around this time but for some reason this one was just absolutely PERFECT!!!❤❤

I like this too. But am not crazy about the reverb in the production. So Hyang doesn't need the extra help.

I think this is because the IS2 version is a contest version. The version that Sohyang often sings like this version begins with words of comfort for many people in need. She has a truly beautiful personality. Although she has tremendous singing skills, she does not sing to show off, but always sings for the people who listen.. she sings for people who need comfort through her songs.
