Good video. Im on the look out for a new 43 inch tv. I mainly watch sports,news through the cable tv. The content provided by the cable network provider in my country is HD and standard HD content and no 4K content at all. In this situation is it worthwhile buying a 4K tv when the content is 1080 & lower? I heard if you're watching HD content on a 4K tv the picture quality is compromised. How about contrast ratio and what would be the best contrast ratio one should select for a full HD tv?

Upscaling from HD to 4k is pretty good within 43", you won't notice much changes. 4k will serve you well. TVs with Quantum dots, local dimming or miniLED takes the contrast to a whole new level.

@@hardware_house thanks for the reply :-) With the budget I have I was considering whether to go for a normal Full HD tv. Because I dont intend using the internet on the TV as well. There is an Aiwa 43 inch full HD tv which is in my budget. Then there is a hisense 4k tv A62KS as well which will cost more than 40000 rupees(130USD). So Im thinking about those 2 models.
