This is interesting. I don’t think I’ve heard of suing because of homework before. They also haven’t provided a lot of information. I’m curious about the timeline. If she felt uncomfortable why did she not tell her teacher once she read what it said? Theatre kids are a different breed. Kids are also very creative with reasons why they don’t want to do something. Did she memorize it and recite it in front on the class then tell her parents? Did the girl pick it herself and is too afraid to tell the Mum she did? Nowadays teachers are afraid to tell students no because they get bullied by obnoxious parents. They also get blamed when their child can’t be bothered to study and gets bad grades. Could be why the teacher is still employed. I need more details before I can decide who’s to blame. I wonder if the entire passage was read into court records 😂😂. Also what is the age of consent there? If it’s 15 then the passage is fine.

The school taught my 14 year old daughter how to put a condom on and what sex toys are without Parental Consent! I called the police and asked if I gave that curriculum to kids of the same age in a park would it be OK? He said no because it'd be corruption of a minor. He said it's ok for the school to do it because it was approved by the school board and it's being taught by a teacher in a controlled environment. So the law only applies to me and not the school. They are exempt from the law.

I’m all in favor of including same sex relationships in education but being forced to recite sexual language or language depicting sex, sexuality, sexual thoughts can be very uncomfortable for many school kids and in most cases, isn’t a good idea.
