Hi that sonic wake was amazing on 8S !!! I am using marine grease to grease my flexshaft , but still some water comes inside the hull...are you using the same grease ? If not please tell me which one ? Many thanks !

I'd check your hull in a bathtub, fill it with water and keep the boat inside, see if you find any bubbles coming into the hull. That's one of the best ways to see if you have leaks

Put that 4519 prop from the Popeye on the sonicwake. It should do 65 on 6s easy with it. Loving the paint on that popeye too! I have 8 of your cnhl 10k 4s packs they’re too heavy for the sonicwake though. That’s why it’s running so wet. Look forward to another video before summers end.

Definitely! That's a monster prop he had on. I also see for sure it feels about right with a single 6s but two 4s to make 8s was way too heavy. I'd like to do a solid 4s setup and use a single 10k instead of 6s ultimately

Nice runs! New to boats eh?! lol I live in Davie…I have a popeye too, run 4s and 6s with a 38, and 40mm prop…65mph is easy. I also use a much larger mad lizard turn fin. Stock is way too small. Yes that hull wants to lift. FYI on yer sonic wake, you are running with too much wetted surface, it’s costing you speed also you can go up on prop as well to vet more out of those electronics. Our summer pond water is over 90 degrees ! Got bit by RC really hard last year!:) Though Im not new to real boats, I am to cars and speed running/gearing , batteries, set up etc! Love the challenge. Good to see a fellow south Floridian. Steve , south Florida boat gang.

Thanks for the advice! I do intend to change this setup, the motor requires high voltage to really get high speed out of it. I'm going to round out the setup and make it all lighter. Thanks for the advice!

move the damn trim tabs up already. You have too big of battery and dont need anything else pushing the bow down. Once you go back to 6s with a 6000mah battery and a 45mm prop you will exceed 65mph easily.
