A strong human can pull that bus on level ground. And that's not 2hp of available power. You take a 6hp 70cc pit bike / monkey bike and it would pull that bus way faster.

Congrats on the run I would consider getting the gnss performance analyzer GSM020 I've done many many speed runs with the skyrc GSM 010 that your using in the car with the gnss model and the skyrc always reads between 12-18 more mph than the gnss model i have tried several of the one your using and every one of them always said faster so I took in it my car with me and it was the same always said I was going faster than I really was
@InnovationRCКүн бұрын
Something is wrong with your skyrc GPS then. Calibration must be off. Mine is identical to the speed I'm actually going in my real car. I hate the Bluetooth one, after I've seen people post ridiculous speeds (300-500+ mph) I don't trust a single thing from it since. As people joked, I lost my trust fast with it. My GPS is actually 1 mph off the speed due to refresh rate. 12-18 mph is a huge calibration issue
@philipzech9127Күн бұрын
@InnovationRC no worries man everybody has there choice not sure if you follow or have ever checked out Raz Shiffin not sure that the correct spelling or James McCoy 2 of the fastest guys in speed run only use the GSM020 and they say the same thing so as I said to each his own congrats on breaking 100mph

You DO realize that a 2P battery setup will provide vastly better voltage under load leading to more... speed, right?
@InnovationRC3 күн бұрын
If I want more speed I just gear up more. This is a setup to reliably do 120 mph. It's topped out at 123 mph until more gear is added. I prefer 1p packs instead of 2p anyway. Why would I buy a whole new battery for more speed when I can just gear up more? It can go over 130 with a slight gear change.
@mlentsch2 күн бұрын
@@InnovationRC KV = rpm per volt. thus, the higher your voltage - the faster you go - duh. With 2 packs in parallel that are half the size of the single battery you'll have higher voltage in any scenario. Gear up and run 2p - that's the point - the higher the amp draw, the more the voltage sag. Large single packs sag badly. Run 2p and you'll see.
@InnovationRC2 күн бұрын
Car is topped out with this gearing. If you think I want to squeeze another 1-2 mph by changing the battery at 120 Mph, your nuts. 120 is just a warm up I don't need to worry about running a parallel pack. When the car starts drawing 600+ amps then I might have to worry, but that means this buggy will be going 170+ mph at that amperage. Need not worry ever. This battery is more than enough for (only) 120. I'm not fighting for another 3-5 mph when I know I can get another 20-30 mph using the same pack

A thought i just had, could you take a small to medium piece of dry ice and 3d print a small bracket that holds it a few inches above the heatsink fan so it's blowing extra cold air? Most modern rc gear is fairly resistant to moisture if treated properly. For these videos where you push the cars to the limit I could see this being viable at least in my head. Let me know if I'm wrong

A large rudder wing off the rear will keep it straight with zero drag A wing on the front will provide downforce and help air over the front/out of the front fender traps Wing on the top is basically the most cost of speed per unit of downforce

Congrats really enjoyed this . Do you have a video of changes made to the stock car ? Like a series of videos ? Wondering what the difference is between this typhoon and the midnight typhoon . Are they different models of typhoon car ? Thank you
@InnovationRC5 күн бұрын
A Midnight Typhon is a car I built to my spec, it's a 6s Typhon built specifically for speed runs that also uses TLR upgrades parts. The car I ran here is the new Typhon 3s, now called the 223s which is the affordable version of the 6s Typhon. 6s is a much higher quality and spec compared to the 3s. Equivalent to a Corvette stingray, then you have the Zo6 which is the 6s, even further the Zr1 is my midnight Typhon to guarantee 120+ Mph.
