I'd check your hull in a bathtub, fill it with water and keep the boat inside, see if you find any bubbles coming into the hull. That's one of the best ways to see if you have leaks

@@InnovationRCOh wow I'm scared to have no assist. I'm planning to buy the new Futaba 10PX with the R2006GS receiver. Do you think this is a good combo? A lot of what I know about speed runs and my channel in general, I’ve learned from watching your videos.
@InnovationRC10 күн бұрын
I appreciate that that's great I'm glad I've helped. And yes that remote is great, I've only used those receivers too. Don't be scared to not run without assists. What you should be scared about is learning to rely on the assists so much, you can't drive it without them. If you build the car right for the road you run on, it'll run nice. Don't buy things that people on KZbin push in your face. Think if you actually need it. The best cars are tuned for the road they run on... That will be the most truthful advice I can give you.

I agree. Probably end up saving a little $ if you intend to get the better electronics and go all out anyway. Since I would do ground up builds, you wouldn't have to pay normal full price for a vehicle with stock electronics/tires etc that you will change out anyway. Instead getting the better stuff from the beginning avoiding the headache of extra electronics and features you don't want saving that $. One guy is getting a brand new Typhon 6s with the faster limitless diffs, shocks and towers pre installed. It's basically a specific built roller to your spec :-)
@elvertmack503913 күн бұрын
It's not can you build it...are they willing to pay the price of getting it built properly....that's the question.
@dodgymtbknee13 күн бұрын
people would pay, too lazy to actually build themselves. then smash it into a kerb and complain lol.
@InnovationRC13 күн бұрын
That is the right comment. Having something pre built to your own spec that is not by the book takes skill and time. But that's for me to worry about. Do they want a legitimate car built to the spec they want? It's a ground up build so depending on what they want, I would build. Leaving out stock electronics/ tires or features they don't want actually saving $ in the long run if they intend to go all out, do it right the first time 💪
