Love ur video bro. I have the same set up on mine. What percentage do u have on the throttle? Ppl are saying this motor is too much. I have mine set at 90%. I don't want to change anything else like steel spur because I like it if the plastic stripes, that helps anything else in the driveline be safe. Why did u change the diff oil? Just cuz?

Hi Evolution RC could I ask you a question regarding your choice of X-MAXX wheels/tyres and what you're using please? I've uploaded a video today and a bit like you I blew one out so I'm searching for advice on a suitable replacement for high speed running, cheers Jake.

For high speed running I would probably recommend the Pro-line 5t wheels and tires. They are significantly smaller than the stock wheels and tires though but much better for high speed however. I'm waiting for pro-lines x-maxx specific monster truck tires though. I do know they are working on them and I'm hoping for their release sometime soon.

Haha, not at all. traxxas had sent them to me because I complained that the fronts were warped. then this happened. had to then go out and buy a new set for the fronts because those were the ones that needed replaced to begin with.

yours had it's wheels explode apart? it's not just the tires that torn apart on mine. The wheels themselves shattered into multiple pieces. That's what i didn't anticipate happening.

Only one of my rims shattered. About 1/3 the way around and half way in. I run 100/200c 6s 8000 mah which output very well. I bought Imex pluto MT 1/5 wheels which are far better than the cheap traxxas wheels and tires. I have an 8s upgrade going in this week.
