Ok, this book's cover is obviously misleading. Judging by the name and appearance, I was expecting some Skandinavian Hard-/Psychedelic Rock a la Graveyard. But what I'm hearing is something between Country-Pop and Southern-Rock. Sorry for putting you in a drawer, but every book needs a lable, right? Anyway, I'm going through your other uploads as I'm writing this, but this was the first song I heard. The intro on the hammond hooked me instantly, but, keeping my personal bias in mind, the chorus was kind of a let down for me, as I was expecting a rise of dynamic and tension, as well as a certain degree of grittiness. But that is not your thing, obviously. For me, personally, to really go 'wow' your music would require some more of that grit and maybe a little less of the polished vibe I'm getting. I could really see myself destroying the dancefloor at one of your shows to The Lost River Band e.g., but from the record, this type of music just is not for me. I'm sorry that such a nitpicker as I had to be your first commenter, because I really think you're doing a great job , doing your own thing and being, in my case, unpredictable. But the nitpicker that I am, I can't help throwing all my sophisticated opinion at you. Long story short, what I'm saying is: awesome music, but I'm missing something, which is why it's not exactly my type. Keep it up, and maybe I'll see you guys in Germany, one day ;)
