My favorite scene is the one where Eddie unleash his anger at Buck in the supermarket I was cracking up so hard at how Eddie was like acting like an annoyed wife to Buck telling him how much he needed him especially when he needed to call him to get him out of jail then played it off like it didn't happened while the car crash was happening behind them. Also what I love about it is how the whole team was so involved in their drama they didn't pay attention to the fight that lead to a car crash until the last minute outside the store.

What kills me about Buck and Eddie is the fact that they are clueless. Chimney laughs at Eddie because Eddie eyes and facial expressions leads on about his unrecognized feelings for Buck. Buck Sister, Maddie, teases Buck about his unrecognized crush on Eddie. The scene that made me go "hmmm" was the one where they were testing the mics. Buck looked directly at Eddie and flirted when he said "Did I pass?" and Eddie could not take his eyes off of Buck, then he completed Buck's sentence by saying "Over". Bobby just looked at the two of them and smiled. Eddie was so fixed on Buck that he did not see Christopher. Yet, both of them are clueless.

The relationship they are portraying between Eddie and Buck is not an usual friendship, it completely oversteps the usual boundaries established between friends (even close ones) and that differ a friend from a life partner. At best, it is purposeful queerbaiting, but they definitely blurred the line with these two. For example, I definitely wouldn't hold my friends responsible for having a role in my children's life besides, maybe, bring a good example and helping them IF needed. I'd never go so far as accusing and getting angry at them for being absent of my kid's life (as if they are an absent parent). That discussion between Eddie and Buck at the grocery store isn't one friends would have, not that way at least. It is one life partners who had a kid together would have. Also, chosing a friend to be the legal guardian of your kid also isn't a responsibility someone would normally impose on a friend nor would be a responsibility a mere friend would be willing to take if there are other options, such as family. The role these two man have in each other lifes go way beyond strict friendship. If it was a man and a woman, they'd be a couple already. They developed a relationship that has all the traits of a romance, minus the sexual aspect (hence why queerbaiting).

Then thinking they'll start off season 5 not even addressing it. Mid season 5 they'll just throw us under the bus by bringing in some buck and Eddie action we did not see coming. We won't be prepared ofcourse. Eddie obvs will be hesitant. But Eddie will admit his feelings by the end of season 5. That'll be the cliff hanger.
