Joining the rest about how you should grace us with a live video of this brother! I've had 120+ tries on him so far, trying all the latent combinations out there. Currently what's working best for me is ID, SL, PS and the usual rest. This ensures I reach last phase and kill karam (no more hands), but then the real beast reveals itself. Just trying to put as many Agonys up as possible to heal from DL, and using PS on the slimes to heal up. Pretty damn overtuned if you ask me, but I like to suffer so yeah

Legion version was actually easier... didnt even have to kite the melee guy. Pet could get aggro on him and you could fear him as he went into his invul state and never have to deal with the grasping hand interrupt.

you didnt need to in the kill attempt but you can so banish the hands from beyond if you don't have a kick available

Was there anything special you had to do to kick the hand from beyond? I was unable to get my fel hunter to kick the cast. I tried coil, shadowfury, kicking early and kicking late. Only thing I found that worked was banish but that is a waste of globals unless the boss is almost dead. Any insight would be appreciated.

Agree. 200k+ hp now; last phase seems impossible, not enough GCDs to put on boss while still managing the mechanics (maintaining Fixate CoE, ensuring hands die)... and the ramping speed on the fixate dude coupled with the huge health pool means that after a while you just can't stop moving unless you can end the phase [kill Raest] ungodly fast (not convinced this is possible currently). First 4 phases are really fun though.

@@thomassudderth9051 The ilvl is irrelevant; everything is scaled down to 50. Only things that are relevant are trinkets/sockets/secondary stats, most of which have minimal impact. Nonetheless, I agree that it seems impossible for Aff since the fight has clearly not been tweaked in accordance with the reworks to Aff since Legion. Too much GCD starvation having to maintain CoE without the help of Sacrolash legendary, and ID stacking off Agony instead of Corruption (now vs. then) is a huge hindrance as well. On top of that, current Aff design has relatively weak ST, especially while being chased around/having to move a lot... TLDR; they need to either nerf the tuning hard or make some tweaks to the fight that make it more appropriate for the (relatively) new design of Aff.

He is using felhunter, he just uses glyph of the observer that makes it look like the darkglare! You want to use the felhunter for the interrupt!

Move your pet on top of the circle that spawns (or stand on it yourself), it has to be soaked. But it was that way in Legion too

It was trivially easy if you broke it by taking Grimoire of Supremacy and making your infernal stand on the guy and hit him immediately as he became attackable. He'd then just sit their hitting your infernal and you could just blast him. Literal target dummy.

Was hard before since they have like 3x the health they have in this video, and also ever since Dragonflight Affliction DoTs on their own hit like a wet noodle. You can't just DoT the adds down quick enough anymore *and* keep on top of everything else going on.

So I think I'm just misunderstanding something basic here. On the bottom left youve got what I believe to be your warlock's secondary stats listed. I know you're a mythic raider and that you've got far superior gear to my warlock with a few heroic and upper lvl M+ items.. so why does it seem like your stats are so much lower than mine? You've got 10% Crit, 21% Haste, 58% Mastery, and 1% Vers. Upgraded stats aside, my 231 lock has 10% crit, 23% haste, 91% mastery, and 2% vers. What am I not taking into account?

It's because his gear is scaled down for the challenge to ilvl 50 afaik and the char is scaled to lvl 45 afaik.

Well Blizzard managed to fuck up Mage Tower as well. This shit is way way overtuned man. In legion it took me like a couple of hours first time around. PTR SL took me 3-5 tries. Ive spent like 5-6 hours today im all bis gear with trinkets and sockets and dont stand a chance.
