I was Stage Left for this concert in Toronto at the ACC. 2ND belcony up. Will never forget it. We seat hopped to a row 5 rows up Stage right right after this set, and ended up sitting with the wives and children of BNL during their performance. Absolutely will never forget this concert.

What an incredible moment to have those 2 singing that song together! It would take an incredible talent like Steven Page to appreciate and recognize a song from the early 80's of that brilliance and bring it back for a new generation to enjoy.

@@jamesc4812 Oh that is so nice of you say! It just filled my heart for you to reply! I met you in North Bay last time you were here and that was a thrill because I have been your fan all the way! I hope all is well! I am praying for all our musicians and venues during these extra challenging times! I was supposed to see Bob Dylan last July but of course I want you and he to be safe above all! I look forward to seeing both of you onstage again soon! Oh yes of course Steven Page too what I also met in NorthBay when he was with the ‘ensemble.’ God Bless you always and in all ways! 🤍 denise

Perfect song for a 9/11 benefit: According to Cockburn, the song was inspired by seeing teenagers expressing romantic love in a schoolyard. In the song, he contrasts the hopefulness and joy of new love with the despair of a wider Cold War world where notions of the future often carried a sense of foreboding and doom

They don't want him, at least Ed has come out and public said that its easier the way it is.. what a shame, an iconic Canadian band split by a bunch of bullshit.

This fixes my greatest complaint with the BNL cover. "Vibrant" is so much more impactful than "Fragrant" is. That change was always my greatest criticism of the cover. One word tells a story. The other is simply a description of a momentary description of a single sense. Vibrant skin is skin that is alive, telling a story as the object of the story. Fragrant skin is simply a description of skin, making it a subject to be described, rather than on object telling its story.
