I had one, I'm living in Japan. That was the best car I ever had. I did some mountain drop with my CRX in the middle of 94 and 96. CRX is really incredible on the corners.

This type of driving is the only way. The thought of being in a V8 going in a straight line doesn't do it for me. This is driving in its purest form. Great video and many thanks to all the comments as it seems I'm not alone in my love for this great sport.

Im a life long mopar guy myself, mostly had a-body cars cause thats what i could afford and still have my 70 duster I got in high school (built slant six with cam, decked head, 4bbl carb and 3 into 1 headers and too many other parts to list). Stripped and caged a 86 crx to run at my local short track and its the most fun ive had behind the wheel. Definitely recommend looking into it, only cost me about $2500 for finished car, fire suit, helmet, gloves and shoes and I was on track.

@@andypowell4702 looking into a civic del sol for a track car isn't a bad idea either, but ideally, a prelude is the way to go. Beefier engines, a better body, and more space to work with. A prelude from the late nineties, to be more specific.

One day my friend let me take his B18 gsr swapped 97 EK hatch for a spin and I gained a ton of respect for that kind of stuff, love it and now have the fully caged and stripped CRX race car I run at Evergreen Speedway and even daily drive a 2000 civic but ill always love my old Mopars.

This is the almost perfect race car. You can use all of the power at full throttle, it sticks onto the road, it sounds great, it is small and has a short wheelbase for great handling, and it looks good going fast.

It is only 40HP over stock. In 2010 I build a S2000 engine making 300HP N/A It cost me $1500 in parts. The F20 engine is Awesome. I'm always considering this engine when I build a car.

this is in wheel horsepower instead of crank horsepower. So 280 whp is around 300-350 hp.

The sequential tranny saves tons of room. Look up the quaife dimensions compared to stock and with the raised hood should fit nicely.

If its front wheel drive im pretty sure thats an old school F series motor from the 90s that came out in the accord Euros which was basically a motor made for super touring. As it was 2.0l. Basically a 2.0 H series engine. And a very distant relative to the f series found in the s2k

Not taking anything way from honda, but for years we have been running fords 2300ohc (throw away engine) at well over 9700 rpm and they keep wanting more. Indy lites also ran them and Esslinger engines are badass!
