I’m pretty much organized but far from perfect. It’s just easier if there is somewhat of a system in place. Always love your videos and appreciate all of the time you put into them. So I try to never miss a video😊 Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful combination of floss and fabric. I'm somewhat organized Happy Stitching 😊

Nutmeg is gorgeous with the thread colors. I was organized until the start of this kitchen renovation we are in the middle of. Being organized saves my sanity!

That last fabric is amazing! I’m way more organized now than I was when I was younger. What really pushed me into organizing was culinary school. It kicked my tush and I’m better off for it!

Hi Julie. I think I like the Nutmeg fabric the best. I really liked the way the colors looked against when you held them against the fabric. I feel I'm pretty organized with my stitching stuff, especially with what I'm currently stitching. Most of the time I can go pull something I want/need from one of my storage bins without too much digging around. I hope you and Dan have a great week!

I am pretty organized when it comes to my crafts, quilting and crossstitch. The rest, I'm getting there. I have been working multiple jobs for many years and have just decided that I will not do that anymore. It's amazing how far you get away from yourself when you are working to live. At almost 60, I say...No More 😊 That dark fabric from Atomic Ranch is the best, gotta get me some 😂

I have been (re) organizing(especially kitchen and stitching) since I retired, many moons ago! I still go back to that favorite spatula in the same place it was the day I retired! Stitching is finally the way I like, each work in progress with everything in it that is needed with a big sign, DO NOT ROB PETER TO PAY PAUL.

Well I love the nutmeg!!! I'm usually fairly organized....I know about where things are. I do need to clean up surfaces before I start a quilt etc.😂 I watch your videos but usually don't comment😊.

Hi Julie: Good to see you again, a cool 70 degrees, I am a85-90 degrees girl. It changes because you do not have enough light behind you, the fabric reflects off the lens, I like the Flax the Regency, so pretty, or Sandoon, so pretty, not liking the dark fabric. Have an amazing week.

I really like the nutmeg! Not so organized but have been trying to get there. Going through stuff and donating or pitching. I just finished a large quilt top for my grandson and need to clean up that mess

Loved todays video! Of course Nutmeg easily beats all the rest of the colors, particularly in this beautiful chart. I am somewhat organized in my stitching stuff, depending on which room we are looking for stuff, however the entire house around it is nowhere labeled as any kind of organized.. Thanks Julie, loved our visit last week, my Sister is almost finished with the "crow"! Me, well not so much.😊

That pattern is beautiful. I love the soft color pallet. I was never organized when I was young. But decade by decade I’ve gotten more OCD about sorting and organizing. I spend about 30% of my week keeping the house sorted and organized and put away. It helps now that we have a house big enough that everything has a place. My stitching is sorted into 3 categories: WIPS, fully kitted, not kitted. The not kitted is very small (mostly what I just ordered from you…LOL) I decided a while back to fully kit all my charts, that way I’m ready to stitch at a moments notice.

Hi Julie: I always love your chart of the month videos. I like you love alittle darker fabric so my favorite was that nutmeg and I love Dove Manor chart. As far as organization skills. Is weird somethings ( like my spice drawer) are all alphabetical and perfect. But my clothes closet is a hot mess. My stitching stuff is pretty organized. My fabrics are grouped by thread count. My threads are group my manufacturers. But patterns are just in one carton, so I go through them all looking for something. lol Love your videos and hoping you will do a you tube on the butlers pantry.

Organized😮 not so much! Too much stuff. Definitely the nutmeg. Your fam room is beautiful, very cozy. I don't think I remember that Dan stitched. Maybe you could revisit his stitching and show a bit closer to the camera. Have a great week! Ok Julie I am editing my comment. I went back to flosstube #7 and there was Dan with all his beautiful stitching...not afraid to tackle a Dimension project. You rock Dan!

I used to be organized in my youth but nowadays I'm so scatterbrained! I frequently lose patterns or my floss or both🤦🏻♀️🤣 I'm trying to do better with putting WIPs in project bags with their supplies and labeling them. I really like the Nutmeg fabric! Gorgeous. The floss will pop on that❤

I love your Family Room. Very warm. I have the XS app and want to put all my charts into the inventory. But, I rather spend the time stitching instead. Right now they are organized in bins by Designer, or Christmas and Halloween. Beautiful chart! I would go with Cecil.

I consider myself to be pretty organized. I use the XStitch app and keep it up to date. For example, I have drawers are labeled by count and designer. Each piece of fabric has a unique number assigned to it. If I use part of the fabric, I updated the fabric size. If I decide to put it in a kit, I will note that in XStitch. I’m going to start taking pictures of the back of charts so that I can kit them on the go. I bobbinate my DMC. I use the photo boxes from Michael’s to store my silks and overdyed floss. I put labels on each box so I know what’s in there. I enjoyed your video.

Well Julie when a person moves from a 3300sq ft Town House to a 1500 Sq Ft apartment, it is necessary to be organized especially in the kitchen, because I don’t like to cook anymore so I must make it as easy as possible which includes the pantry, baking cupboard & of course where dishes are stored. The smaller space makes it easier cause there is no where else stuff can go! However, my “ Hen Den” is another story. There are boxes& containers from moving that i should go thru & donate or get rid of fabric that I won’t use. My cross stitch charts, stitching fabric & finishing fabrics are fairly well organized. Floss is my biggest problem. Quilting fabric is kinda all over. So I’m a mixed bag of organization. What else can I say! Love the pattern you showed. Mid shade of fabric is my vote but can’t remember the name. Good to “see” you!

I think I’m organized - nobody else does :-) my desk is like an archaeology site - you have to dig to find the treasures . Lovely chart, beautiful choices. Would be great in monochrome or at least variegated thread.

I’m very organized to the point it drives me nuts..LOL!!! I’m always reorganizing. Yes, I can find a specific chart, well, pretty sure I can. Favorite fabric - Nutmeg.

I think I like the darkest fabric for the chart of the day. It is different, but I think would look really striking ont hat fabric. I am an organized person and have always been. I can typically find anything in my home or at the office because of it. It is an illness!!! LOL!

I love that chart, it is stunning! I’m so not organized-my current WIPs are in individual project bags, but other things not so much! I find floss that I bought for a certain project & have no idea which chart it is for (embarrassing). Oh well.

Love the Cecil and the pattern! I was organized 40 years ago before my twins came along, now I don’t carry! Everything is disorganized at my house! Love the video!

I can be very organized, but once I start on whatever the project is, I burn out very quickly. Then I just put stuff back in a sort of "okay" manner. If it's a small space or a small project, it can be pretty satisfying when I'm done - like a drawer, my drawers can be very organized!!! LOL I've already forgotten the name of the fabric, but I liked the dark one a lot, not sure about it for this project but I liked it!

I love the nutmeg. I think practically all the floss colors would be absolutely gorgeous on that fabric. I’m organized, and yes, it takes lots of time to keep it that way.

I love the Cecil and Nutmeg too, but would select the Cecil if I were to stitch Dove Moor. The Cecil would be best with my decor. I am beautifully organized in my kitchen, only area though. The rest is a disaster but I prefer to use my retirement time for the fun stuff 😊

Organised? I think most of the time I am - I like to keep things together and I think I know where most of it is. But no guarantees! Thanks for the Flosstube - I always enjoy the variety of fabrics you present with charts. 🐨👍

It was fun to see more of your beautiful home! Love love the chart this time. I feel I am organized and if I am the only one accessing the area-I am organized. However if other helpers are using the area also, I am not organized. I dislike having to spend time reworking my systems 😁 thank you for another great video!

I like the Heron Gray for the Rosewood Manor piece. All of the threads show up well. I am not well organized in terms of patterns. I have very little idea what i have. I sometimes buy the same pattern twice. One i bought three times. All of my fabric is in one spot categorized by count . My trhreads are in one place categorized by type and dyer.

I was organized in past years (like high school). My school books were always in one place and organized by size. My bedroom was always spotless and everything in place. Now I wish I was that way now. I am tired of always looking for something that i thought it was in its place.
@elainewarren58872 ай бұрын
Organised? You gotta be kidding! It's a total mess. I have bage here, boxes, there and wips beside my chair! My threads are a bit better, different brands are in boxes and tins together, so easier to find, but patterns I'd have to rummage to find anything. I used to be tidy but it's all gone to he'll. BUT, I'm living my stitching every day now I'm retired. Love your fabric/floss options, great way to see them. I'm in uk so can't get most of the fabrics but love seeing them

I love being organized! However, just having moved/downsized from 2200 sq ft down to 896 sq ft - boy, has this been a challenge!!! My kitchen lower cupboards do not have shelves in them, either! You KNOW (sorry men if I am wrong but I don't think I am!) that a man who has NEVER stepped FOOT inside a kitchen to cook or put things away in IS the one who designed those cupboards! You can't stack glass bowls 4 feet high! You can't stack anything that high! You NEED shelves! I have to figure out how to get shelves in there. It's just myself, so it's up to me! As for my cross stitch, yes, my floss is in one huge suitcase with wheels. It's on bobbins and they are all wrapped and sorted by numbers and by company. My patterns are in one or two bones, nothing special, they're just in there, plus one bag of older patterns from the 90's to around 2008. I'd say for what I have to work with, I'm doing pretty good! I need to frame a LOT of projects. I've not framed anything yet only because I've been putting a new house together and it's been summer and I've been at the beach every weather permitting day that it's nice out!!! I, like you, also wish it would stay hot year-round here in Michigan! Unfortunately, it does not, so booooo hooooo!!!!! Lol! I should add I have a china cabinet my partner gave me here in my bedroom and that also houses cross stitch supplies! In the glass areas are some WIPS on their frames, some finished pieces but not fully finished yet - they WILL be! I have a bag in my closet (I have 2 separate closets in this master bedroom! Yay! I keep the cross stitch in one only! Lol! It still could be organized better, but can't it always! Lol!!! I love when you make these videos and show the floss against different color fabrics! It's very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to make these! I love watching them!

I am a pretty organized person. I struggled with how to comment on this as I don't want to come across as being anal or else arrogant. While discussing with my husband, he said he felt that this is a trait that is genetic. Not sure if I agree or not but I will say they I lived with my dad until the age of 16 and never thought of him as being organized. As we reconnected later in life, I find that he is very neat and organized so I must have gotten that from him as my mother did not possess those qualities. I was wondering if you might be interested in featuring the Rosewood Manor chart Some of My Favorite Things for chart of the day (or maybe you already did and I forgot?).
