Hi Julie: Good to see you again, so sorry for the late comment, love the Flag design, oh Julie: The Peacock is beautiful so close to the finish, love it, so very vintage looking. Nice progress on your stitching, very pretty designs. I have thought about black and pink in the bedroom, please share your a bedroom photo, I bet it is lovely, I will be entering in to our County Fair and maybe State Fair. I hope your heart monitor gave you good news I had to wear one for my A-Fib, all is good now. Have an amazing vacation, sounds like the menus for vacation is a yummy one.

1st time viewer! Pretty new stitcher but I've been contemplating entering a piece in the fair and you've solidified that for me. I was thinking that it was kinda self- seeking for attention. Sharing for the same of highlighting the art and skill is certainly a worthy endeavor. Your peacock stitch is stunning!!

Have a great vacation. I’m too chicken to enter anything in the fair. I don’t feel like mine is good enough. And, honestly I feel like the criticism would discourage me from continuing to stitch.

Aww...don't feel that way. The first time I entered, I felt the same way and surprise surprise I received a best in show that year. The judges are not there to criticize, only to make suggestions on how to improve. If you don't want to know what they said just throw the comments out without looking. I don't enter to win a ribbon...they really don't mean much to me. It's just that person's opinion on that day and I don't know them so why do I care what they think? I enter more to inspire those that haven't tried cross stitch before and maybe to bring someone back to cross stich after an absence. Please reconsider. I know you can do it!
