I use to be an MA for 10 years before the pandemic. I worked in Occupational Health, Pain Management and my last was Pulmonary and Sleep. I think MAs are very underpaid, I didn’t go back it was too stressful. I am now a school bus driver and couldn’t be happier 😊

Cute for you to ask what we do for jobs :) I'm a speech-language pathologist (speech therapist) currently working in an outpatient pediatric clinic. I help my clients understand verbal and written language and express themselves verbally and in writing. I also help kids learn speech sounds, use devices to talk, communicate with peers, and do some feeding therapy. I think my youngest kiddo right now is 3 yrs old and my oldest is 21 yrs old. Our clinic has a pool so I do therapy in swimming maybe 30-40% of the time. Thanks for posting! 💜

I think the interview process is outdated and stale. Both parties are just saying what the other wants to hear, it doesn't REALLY tell you if the candidate would be good at the job or give an honest idea of what the job really requires. i.e why would you want to trip someone up in an interview? Just be honest about the position you're offering and let them decided if they can commit to doing the job.
