Ith Bombgard Thanks, and good luck. I'm just starting on dimples myself... the last two videos were my first two dimple locks! The only bit of advice I can give you is to dive right in. I had built up dimple locks in my head to be something special. That's definitely not the case.

That actuator allows keys being inserted from both sides, panic function.

Great picking and gutting. Has extremly long spools. Isn't unusal that a dimple lock has such long pins?

Potti314 Thanks. I haven't gutted enough dimple locks to tell if it's unusual. I can say that the Abus D6 has similar length pins. This is pure speculation, but my best guess is that very long driver pins are a necessity given the length of the bible to prevent an "overlift" attack.

nah you good when it comes to crime no one actually picks locks not with other vulnerabilities like floor lvl windows and wooden door frames and things like that

The thing in the back is the actuator mechanism. It prevents keys from being inserted from both sides.

i have decided to give up on guns or bombs. im now into poison gas! this seems like a good lock its $100 for the cylinder but i dont see it in a lock? you should give reviews of the locks.
