Long time keeper looking to pick up a few females soon to grow up over the next few years to start a breeding project/small business. When looking at recessive traits to focus on should I be concerned with the prevalence of clown/dg/hypo combos, and if I invest in that now the prices coming down significantly in the next 4-5 years? Should I look for other recessives to explore? I feel like when I’m looking on MorphMarket I see a lot of the first 3 mentioned along with pied, and wonder as a new breeder should I look into something different to not get lost along with everyone else?

She’s sooo beautiful! 😍 As for expensive animals that sit on MorphMarket, I KNOW that many times, there are people who don’t yet have the funds but plan to buy the snake when they have enough money. There’s always a chance that they settle for something cheaper, but I think patience is important, rather than racing to the bottom.

I've been researching genetics and considering starting a small breeding program. Your content has been excellent and thoughtful. I thought I recognized the Asphalt and OD, but not the Leopard. Do you have any plans to produce some similar offspring. I think the Asphalt combined with some color enhancing genes has a lot of potential.
