Great drill! It definitely teaches getting on the right side of the angle and using both soft shots and forced shots. Thanks for the content!

Was perfecting one of your rail drills today and your words Let the white ball do all the work & Take whatever the table gives you just jumped into my heart. That took the pressure off. Thanks

Nice getting a video from a Professional! I will have to try 9 ball, even though i don't like it as much as 8 ball. Thanks for video!

I've always watched your professional play. Always thought to you were a mean guy by how serious you look while playing 😂. It's nice to see you're actually a nice guy. I've been following the drills you're uploading of late closely. Unfortunately I don't have a pool table at home. Can't wait for this pandemic to end to get back to the pool hall and try them out. Great job 👍

Nice drills, but after i saw your 67 balls maze drills clearance without touching another ball, you should have challenge yourself and do this drll blind folded. Lol

This took me 4 or 5 attempts. The first 4 are the toughest and then it’s pretty easy imo

The drill looks good. My issue is pocketing the balls consistently.

Hi Darren, thanks for all your great drills. I've reached the dreaded plateau, and I know perfecting this drill will get me out of it, but I'm finding it a little hard to follow your instructions when applying left and right spin. You say "a touch of left spin" to get onto the Two from the One but your cueball diagram looks as if there are about 2.5 - 3.0 tips off centre. It would be awesome if you could be more specific by communicating how many cue tips instead of describing it as a 'touch'. Thanks, again, Darren. I love your videos.

Touch of English for me is about 1 tip it’s heard to get the dot exactly where you want it on the Cueball on diagram Anyway spin depends on your personal shaft and your stroke so it’s about experiment so try different amounts of spin that is right for you and your stroke for certain shots then dial that into your brain for future reference .. if do that then it should come naturally to your eye Thanks a lot for kind words and keep up the hard work buddy

@@dynamiteappleton Thank you kindly for your response, this is a great help already. I'm finding the experimentation part of your drills to be a huge part of the learning process and where most of the fun lies.

You made it to the nine tho , that means you have a working understanding of cue ball control and now you should focus on your fundamentals
@AngrierGorilla
@AngrierGorilla 4 жыл бұрын
@@raymondmaglaris4149 thanks... yes I have a general decent cue ball control, but this drill requires more precision in CB control than I actually have. In fact before missing the nine, I had to repeat the drill lots of times (got stuck several times around 4 or 5 with wrong angles). I still have a lot of work to do... and you're right, I have to improve my fundamentals.
