Thanks for your expertise. Seeing the designs on models with tummies would be helpful

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I love it when you say oh look away there’s nothing to see here. That’s what I often think when I’m dressing and now I can feel more comfortable wearing my clothes without thinking about my tummy. At 57 years old.

I've watched so many fashion for our age group videos and they're all about the half tuck etc. Well while trying to be on trend, I caught sight of my tummy in a shop window. 🤪 Give me back my tunic top. I look so much better with that menopausal tummy, tucked away under my shirt. Thank you for the great video .

I hear you on the half-tuck trend-it's not for everyone, especially if it doesn't make you feel your best. Tunics are a great alternative for comfort and confidence. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! 🥰

Great ideas. Do you have any ideas for tunic tops for shorter gals, I love them, but I am always overwhelmed by the length because of my height.

I find tops that hit at mid hip are most flattering 😊

@@terrijamison9154 Thank you, being shorter, I always have to consider this.

I love a peplum or an A-line top. Unfortunately, tunics are difficult unless I am able to find petite sizing.

What good ideas! I must add to the “have a tummy” reasons the law of gravity and also Mother Nature, who will have her way with us. I wish there were a lot more images of women our age so we could see how these styles really look on us. Everything looks good on a size 2. Not your fault. Thanks!

This gave me lots of ideas. I might just try them all. I’m not sure of a peplum. I don’t want to look pregnant. But the rest of them I may try. And there’s a Lane Bryant store at an outlet mall near me. So I’m going to go there and look around. Thank you for another great video.

Tunics are the easiest to find, so they are my "go-to". I have achieved great looks over the years with peplum tops.

A-line tops, tunics, long blouses and patterns: are the best to hide tummy. Another’s you advised, just increase this area. Tried on myself ( I have big tummy)

The only issue on the tops with the gathering under the bust--looks maternity if the tummy is larger than the bust. Otherwise I agree with your suggestions!!

Why don't you show the tops on models with the fat stomach issue?? I don't want to see them on slim models; I want to see them on what my body looks like.

Very nice video. I am 42 but frankly I can still relate to a lot of this. I do think it would be good to include some women who have a "belly" in the modeling, though I know it can be harder to find those images. I think it's great for people to accept that our bodies change as we get older, and that's okay and natural and normal. Of course it's still good to go on walks, exercise in the ways that work for you, and all of that... but the idea that we're supposed to look like models who are in their 20s is so ridiculous. I have three kids under age 10 and also had some difficulties in the past few years that required major surgery. I think considering all my body has been through, I look pretty good. That still doesn't mean I want to purposely display my belly fat though lol.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I’m glad you could relate to the video. I absolutely agree that it’s important to embrace and celebrate our bodies as they change over time. I’ll definitely keep your suggestion in mind for future videos. Your positivity and resilience are truly inspiring. Keep rocking it! 💖

I don't like looking at my own tummy so i definitely don't want to look at someone else 's. Think you're wrong about the peplum top. I know instantly when I put something on if it camouflages my middle. Also too long tops add pounds/bulk. Bulk adds bulk.
@shoppingonchampagne Жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I completely understand wanting to feel comfortable and confident in your clothes, and it's all about finding what works best for you. I appreciate your perspective on peplum tops and the importance of avoiding added bulk. 😀

Why do you use thin models. They should be modeled on women with a tummy.
@keleve184610 ай бұрын
Showing women who are small and don’t have a belly doesn’t help us know what we’d look like.
@marciafaw38988 ай бұрын
Lovely tops but most of your models are thin and have no belly so of course they look good.
@PaulinePotter-re2xuАй бұрын
That’s all very well and good but none of the models had a belly to start with, the shape they had they can wear anything

I agree! It's challenging to find models of larger sizes on retail websites. When I do find them, I like to feature them.

Where is your vibrant, colorful top? The white T-shirt doesn’t look nearly as good on you.
