Hi Efren This is Alex from Canada. Just to let you know that at this point, I just joined your trails and have since been in my own delayed time following your adventures and your incredible stamina to do for example 3 Caminos one after the other, wow. I have only done in 2018 the Camino Portuguese (I already viewed your videos of this one) starting from Lisbon and I wish I had had then, the knowledge and technical finesse that you have to put together your Vlogs and show to the world what a fantastic experience is to do them. Last September 2019 I was originally going to do the French Camino in the fall 2020 but here I am still in "Yeartine" (instead of Quarantine). So having found your Vlogs was the best thing that happened to me this year in Feb 2021. I enjoy every step of your adventures and hopefully you will never change. As I progress viewing your Vlogs I will be dropping few comments here and there. Well done and thank you very much.

I would take the rain any day right now. I should be flying to Paris tomorrow to make my way to St Jean Pied de Port to start my camino journey. Looking back this is a classic vlog the snow capped mountains in the background and the mirror image beach of Laredo, such a magical moment in photography.When I think of Laredo I remember a movie with Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly " High Sunset " I think it was called.

That beach in Laredo is an amazing 7km long.......you should have tried the pinchos with anchovy as Santona is the anchovy capital of Spain. Wonderful videos...can't wait for the next releases.....will try your web site.

Anyone who passes through Santoña should stop for lunch at the Asón cider house or at Pascual "el chili" . A belly full of good food comforts the traveler. Todo aquel que pase por Santoña debería parar a comer en la Sidrería del Asón o en Pascual "el chili" Una barriga llena de buena comida reconforta al viajero.

I tried the northern Camino in summer a few years ago, the continuous road walking on sun baked tarmac tore my feet to pieces , not what I thought it would be and not my favourite Camino .

Efren, a question on a poncho vs a set of rain gear. You've used both - which do you prefer?

I really liked the poncho. as long as large enough to cover you from head to toe including the backpack. What I like most is how easy and quick it is to put it on and take it off.

I'm enjoying the Norte! Were there less people on the Norte due to time of year or the Covid-19 situation? It's very beautiful scenery but I also like meeting people on a Camino.

thank you so much Peter. del Norte is less crowded than other routes due to the level of difficulty. I also like to walk in the spring which is the beginning of the season. Summer is the peak.

I apologise to everyone if this is a silly question, but how are you filming on a day to day basis? I can’t see a camera or “selfie” stick and I don’t think you fly the drone around you all the time. I have been watching all your (haven’t finished all of them yet) but it’s driving me crazy trying to work out how you are filming!!! hi Rita. I think you are referring to the shots where the camera overs behind me a few feet away. kind of like a video games point of view. that's the Insta360 one X camera on a selfie stick that magically gets removed once the two 180 images get stitched together. you can see the shadows on the floor every now and then.
