The Robert Talbott really is fantastic. I also got that based on your rec back when it was under $20 and knowing that they were dropping their fragrances I went ahead and got a backup while it was dirt cheap. I agree, it's a great spring/summer take on TdH that somehow doesn't divert too much from the OG (which I actually don't like to wear in warm weather), so I actually keep it in my spring bin with Eau Givree 😁

Definitely AGB! Love getting in community time when others go LIVE! God-willing can hop on eventually, haven't done it yet don't quite know the tech specs and eventually want to get a better camera/mic/studio set up so maybe after that! Super glad you got the Talbott though, really enjoy that one myself. Looking forward to wearing it as the humidity dries up a bit and the dryer part of summer shows up in August!

Great choices! I think I've mentioned this before but my favorite inexpensive summer scent is Lattafa Ra'ed Silver. It has a creamy citrus smell with a touch of leather. Can be worn year-round but I love it in the warmer months. And it costs next to nothing.

I've been considering a blind buy of Acqua Di Parma Colonia OG, since I've read so many positive things about it. They say it smells very realistic and natural, which is exactly what I'm after. However, your description of the Acqua Di Pino cheapie has me intrigued. Do you find the Acqua Di Pino to have the same "quality and natural smell" that the ADP Colonia has? Or does the Acqua Di Pino lean more on the synthetic side? I'm just afraid I'll regret buying the Pino, and wish I had splurged for the supposedly high quality ADP Colonia instead. Thanks 😊

The ADP Colonia definitely has a much more natural layer to it, the citrus in that provide a refreshing cooling and realistic tartness wheras they pino is much more artificial but not quite a syrupy synthetic as some other cheapies I've tried and is still very pleasant. They're similar but the ADP has that tart fresh zest whereas the Pino has more of a powdery soft orange sweetness vs more powdery tart lemon zest of the ADP. The ADP testers are usually only around $60 so not too steep to go for them but I enjoy both the real thing and the pino silvestre! Don't think you can go wrong with either! Might do a comparison video on them now though! Thanks for commenting and sharing though!

I just received the pino version and I must say it does have a sweetness about it. The orange in it is very strong in the first five minutes. There is a green option as well. It’s in a light green box and I have to say the apple that’s in it is very sweet. It almost smells aquatic, but there’s a lot of green notes within it that bring it back to being more of a green fragrance than an aquatic fragrance. Out of the two I prefer the yellow option which is in this video. Performance so far is about 5 to 6 hours on my skin.

Kinda synchronistically, I was actually considering throwing in one of those Touses in a recent order to get free shipping. 😆 I got pretty close too. Decided to go for that new Italian Citrus from Pino Silvestre instead. Blue seems to be the colour of the month. Naz gave it a favourable review and Dan a not-so-favourable one so it's going to be a toss up! No question that citrus aquatics get compliments though. Along the same vein, but a step above the fragrances that go into hygiene products. 🚿🧼

@@tzfragrance I will say that L'eau d'Issey Fraiche is what ADG edp is to ADG. They cut the florals and turned it into a spicy vetiver woody amber. Still, I much prefer the Issey to the Armani. And the originals to the flankers! 😄

@@tzfragrance Just got Italian Citrus today. Terrible disappointment. 😄 Dan was totally right. Utterly synthetic ingredients, awful blending, some spicy bits but it's nothing close to Bowling Green or Milano Cento like Naz mentioned. Not even an overt citrus! Heck, at least it's not a woody amber. It actually reminds me of a crappier version of Korloff's Pour Homme. Especially how the spiciness and musk are done. Maybe a whisper of pine sol in the backgound? But I'll be giving it away pronto. Literally ANY cheap 4711 fragrance is miles better. Not a recommended purchase AT ALL. 😂
