Hoarding get one for newer players is absolutely necessary because it's still one of the cheaper ways to get gas and malak

That's not hoarding... there are people that don't spend anything just so they can maximize their in game currency and they don't have any plan for when they'll ever use it thats hoarding

I'm just gonna tell you something. In May I discovered your early 2023 farming guide, which I started to follow, and even when people started to say "the best first team is Empire" I kept going with the phoenix team. I was 100,000 GP on may, and now i am 1,000,000. Thanks to you I had the chance to use Palpatine, Thrawn, Yoda SUPER EARLY and got my two greatest teams at 400,000 GP -aprox- which consisted Palp-Vader-MJ-Thrawn and Bastilla-JMA-Ahsoka-Yoda. Your second 2023 guide also helped me a lot! I next went for the geonosian team and it's now killing everything, and got ASAP General Kenobi which was a great adition to my Bastila team. So all I wanted to say is that I believed in your guides and they eventually paid off. And for that, I thank you. PLEASE keep doing this F2P oriented guides, because I'm sure they are helping a lot of people that were in my situation in which we started and had no clue what to spend, or what to gear, or what to do. I have now reached a point in where I am a little bit confused to what to spend, what to hold, which path should I go (between Mando, C3PO, Chewie) there are a lot of teams that I should be leveling up at the same time, I have to focus on my BH team, then I have to start to farm the uniques for Mando (IG, Cara and the ugnaught), then start to gear the ewoks. It's a LOT! I even made a post on reddit about it, very detailed with screenshots and all, and I only got 3 answers, with two that said "you should consider buying the lightspeed packs". Dude in Argentina, the Dolar is going CRAZY and we are in the mid of an economic crisis, I have other priorities than spending 9 dollars ($8990 ARS) in a game that I'm already enjoing without having to spend any money. Go chewie. Not only is he a much more useful character, he’s much easier to get characters for and they’re much better. Also do NOT try to skip Bossk. I tried to cheese the challenge with easy to get bh and ended up needing to get Bossk anyway. Plus his ship is awesome.

@jasonskee97 I am farming both character and ship for bossk! I'm at 5 stars ship and 6 stars bossk. It's kind of a slow grind but it'll eventually pay off. He's an amazing lead alongside mando and greef.

I'm going to agree with every one except for 6. As a newer player you simply do not have enough crystals to buy every 50. You need to only buy what you need for now, not later. I've fallen into the hoarding mistake a lot, I'm just a hoarding person, lol. Thanks for another helpful video, keep up the great work!

I slowed down my SLKR unlock for the additive drops and to build up the gear and signal data to get him to R7 on unlock dat. Helpful advice.

Not rushing into the next bottleneck is HUGE for saving money and crystals. When the LSB's came out, I made a kneejerk decision to whale on Finalizer whenever the event came around next. Then I got to thinking about it, and I thought... but why? Whale on Finalizer so I can get stuck farming DS currency and finishing SLKR? Then getting stuck on needing 700 Kyros? Why not just farm the Kyros, casually farm the Finalzer, and consider MAYBE whaling then, when there's no bottleneck waiting for me around the corner. Don't give into CG's devious schemes! Peoples' minds were blown at the "value" of the lightspeed bundles. If they wanted to hand us GL's, they would have done it... there's a reason they gave you everything but the capital ships... you think you got a good deal on a $10 LSB, but they're REALLY hoping you go full-whale on buying out Finalizer so you get get that SLKR that you're suddenly so close to... nothing is free.

I tunnel vision to an extent, if the character/s I'm working on don't need fleet energy etc, it goes into another character. I do try to pick up shards for characters when I can, most times I forget.

When doing a journey guide character Farm all the requirements at about the same time when I was doing Jedi Knight Revan I had all done except one of them

Used that tip for Piett, was farming from g12 to g13 so farmed all the relic salvage ready to get him to relic 8

Not getting prestige is a huge mistake! Shard shop currency is far less important..it takes something like 2k prestige to max out a Capitol ship, people that bought those new packs are going to burn around 500 for each Cap ship, and if you don't have Executor and Profundity done, or Leviathan, oh man, it's gonna be a long haul

I'm super confused as to why there's any reason to keep any more shard shop currency on hand than....whatever is left once you've bought everything you need? Like, spend it all until there's nothing in the store you need at the moment.

That’s mostly how to do it, but for late game accounts you need a lot of currency for datacache for Datacrons

Occasionally there are deals you can buy for 8-9k shard shop currency. Or at least used to be. I took a year off, so I don’t know if they still do those. Otherwise, yes, unused currency is wasted opportunity cost.

Micro attenuators are actually my favorite thing they’ve added in this game ever. I have foregone buying characters for right now because you can never get your mods to a point where you’re done upgrading them.

hoard 6k crystals for executor if you don't have it. 4* executor is pretty useless but 5* can actually counter every fleet in the game so have 6k crystals to get it 5* in one event.

I had finsihed farming slkr character req,I just need get 5* finalizer. I’m heading for jabba now but I also want to get JK cal since he can boots my jml and cere with ufu also good in GAC. Should I 100% focus on jabba or I farm both?

Jabba should be priority there, but if you have extra energy of whatever type you need to help the Cal farm then use them. Gearing for Jabba beats that though, so use energy for Kryos or anything else on you might be short on for Jabba reqs

I was a little embarassed when i unlocked maruader and then brought him to seven stars. then i bought the slkr pack and all the FO ships are at like lvl 50. For somebody that has unlocked a decent amount of ships, it hurt my soul just a little

Rey works well with mostly any LS, and unaligned force users are great. You can put her with JTR, Holdo, maybe stick Rey, and good LS characters that don’t have a home like maybe R2D2

For newer legendary characters, you can only unlock them for a 1-week period every few months. Last year, grand inquisitor came out in June and his event did not come back until December

By hoarding he means saving currency with no plan on using it... If youre saving up for a specific event or capital ship or character that IS NOT HOARDING lol

What's a point in taking Drogan, Scout and Kneesaa to level 11 with all costly Kyrotech pcs? Do you now have enough of those to take JKCK to relics right away?

Endgame players generally aren't hurting for kyrotech. All new releases go right to g11 for me, even though I'll be waiting for a while for their shards

Because for me I have loads of kyrotech, and applying the resources early helps me keep building up my kyrotech supply instead of looking at a huge number. For reference, I have 1000 of each type of kyrotech right now. It's part of an anti-hoarding approach. Cal will be R7 immediately for me!

Would u recommend buying the wat shards with the raid currency....or leaving my guild and joining a guild that still does dark side tb? It cost like 2150 for 5 shards. I need like 90 more shards to 7* but I'm 7.5mil and very close to kenobi. Pretty much just need wat. Do I change guilds or buy wat shards?

I ended up changing guilds and just got my Wat to 7*. As a mid-game player it was worth it. Also, that whole Geonosis TB is useful for a range of currencies. It allowed me to take GAS to 7* as well.

I don’t really subscribe to the idea that you shouldn’t hoard certain things. Kyrotech are the true bottle neck in most meaningful farms. Right now I’m sitting at 50k SSC, close to max in raid mk 1, 2 and 3. Yet I’m fully ready with gear, relic mats and signal data for GLO. The only thing I’m missing is about 230 kyrotech. I’ve actually got all the gear for GLO, Reva and Rey minus the kyros (not the relic mats and signal though). Saving the SSC and raid currency, allows me flexibility. You cant really push a character to max without the kyro. So turning your currency into gear doesn’t really do anything but constrict you. I’d rather be prepared to buy mk12 data pads when I need them, than have an over abundance of mk12 furnaces I can’t use for what I need right now.

That's something I wondered. I realized I have too many 7 star chars but not enough gear, omega, zetas, etc. No reason to keep farming characters if you can't gear them up. I farmed some to complete events like assault battles, but beyond that seems to be no reason.
