lol, i know, me either. unfortunately, all the music they had playing in the background was probably copyrighted, so i had to strip it out and add my own. way tooooo time consuming :-( that's why i don't visit museums very often. too much extra work to change the backgrounds :-)

I really enjoyed, this video. I was in the car business, for 9 years. Sales and service. One dealer I worked for, had over 100 mint classic cars for sale. I was able to see, up close, many of these classics. One was, a 1920's Plymouth With a 3 speed on the floor and a rumble seat. It was a convertible. Everything looked like it came directly from the factory. I wanted that car. I've been to a few car museums, but this one is now on my bucket list. I enjoy your videos, and watching some that aren't grave sites. Please keep the unexpected coming. Thank you.

The Lincoln limousine that Kennedy was riding in when he was shot was owned by Ford Motor Company and leased to the government for $1 a year. Which would explain why it was an older car. This limousine is currently in the Henry Ford Museum.

This is a great vlog. I am very much a car nut. Every time there was a car show or a bike and car run for fundraising, we were there. It also takes me back to my younger days (or as my son says “when dinosaurs roamed the earth”), I had a 1959 4 door Ford Galaxy. I did some drag racing back then and won my races,of course no one knew that it had Holly 4 barrel Carburetor and a police eliminator under the hood. It was my secret weapon! Before that I had a 1961 Chevrolet Impala convertible, but it was totaled out going down a mountain road and hit a black ice spot. I have fond memories of my cars.

Growing up, we had a car museum in my hometown of Camdenton, MO. Kelsey's. Has been long closed but I remember bits and pieces. A car I believed owned by Clark Gable had 3 windshield wipers. There were also a couple of nickelodeons. Loved when Dad would take us there. Later on in college, the Ralph Foster Museum on the College of the Ozarks campus in Pt. Lookout, MO housed "The Beverly Hillbillies" car. Speaking of that show, I literally bumped into Donna Douglas at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO in the mid to late 1980's. Nice lady.

I visited the Harrah collection in 1973 when Bill Harrah was still alive and expanding the collection. He later married the pop singer Bobbie Gentry, I believe. When he died, I thought the collection was broken up and sold off, but apparently not everything went. The 1973 collection and restoration shops was stupendous. By the way, JFK's Presidential campaign was 1960, not 62. He was shot in an official limo, with special security features including a see through bubble top, which was not used that fatal day. Amazingly, after the murder, the death limo was cleaned up, repaired, and returned to service as part of the Presidential fleet.

The other 24 crt gold DeLorean is or used to be in the lobby of a bank in Texas! The owner of it was going to start building DeLorean's again. That was few years ago though! That Duesenberg replica was pocket change for Sammy! He was making $50k a week in the 60's! The Lincoln Kennedy was killed in was a limousine like you said and had jump seats in side and the platforms on the back for the secret service and the capability to have a bullet proof bubble attached ( for some reason not used that tragic day!) The white one probably wasn't used for official trips. Great episode Steve!
