a feature similar to this is already being made. blog post by Pokemon Go Team from March 10, 2023- Improvements to raids that make it easier for you to participate in local Raid Battles and to become friends with Trainers you've battled with. Plus, noted under the Campfire section of the blog, -Adding the ability to start conversations at PokeStops and Gyms around you. Hope this helps!

@@TyAus28 Niantic were saying that campfire will mostly be available to everyone by the end of 2022 and this feature you are talking about was already in the making in 2022. Don't hold your breath, they will milk it, released it, remove it, because of the glitches, tweet some random bs how sorry they are, will give everyone a bone, like few remotes, a pika with a new hat, just to be quiet and repeat the process again. That's how niantic works with their main goal being AR scanning for harvesting data and getting some loose change from ingame shop (yes as crazy as it sounds they don't really care about people spending money, AR and scanning is their really money shot). Niantic and sticking to promises doesn't go in the same sentence.

I really hope they implement breeding. Go to a pokestop, drop off a male and female pokemon, have a day care feature costing star dust, gives you a time frame to walk, come back and check, collect the egg and pokemon, then walk to hatch the egg.

One idea I'd like to see is the level 50 jacket let you choose the patches but it was incorporated with the medals you had that way you can customize it to your self also if it showed a legend rank or how many times you have hit legend that would be a cool little gift to the community and wouldn't change anything other than the style

I hope that they would make the kantonian legendary birds appear in the wild, just about as rare as a galarian bird to find, and you can only get them off of incense. I say this because in the Let’s Go games, you can find them randomly flying around the sky, and I’ve actually found and caught a wild zapdos!

If they do add the shiny charm, they should make it based on each regions Pokédex. Say if you have caught all Pokémon from kanto, the Pokémon from that region would be shiny boosted permanently

They wouldn't be able to because each regional has regionals in different parts of the world like Kanto region has kangekhan which you can only get in Australia if you live in America how will you be able to use the charm for that region ?. I feel the shiny charm should have a time limit like incense could last an hour so could your shiny odds instead of being whatever it is it could be 1-10 or 1-20 like legendary raids

I agree that it should be region based. Having a full regional Pokedex would show your committed to playing the game and region locked Pokemon help slow people down from getting it. If u don't live in the country of a regional then gives u the motivation to travel or wait for a event

They should make it exclusive for egg Pokemon and only those that you fully completed the Pokédex region of. Eggs are paywall and they should make it slightly easier for the users hunting the shiny costumes.

Campfire will allow chat and tagging of raids...you set off a "flare" to show someone wants help with the raid there. Unfortunately campfire isn't out for everyone yet

I think it would be awesome if they added in more rare legendaries behind the incense like the Galarian birds. I like how tough they are to get, it makes the payoff even sweeter. Every day after work my buddy and I pop our incense and tell ourselves "today's the day we're gonna get a bird" lol. We're always disappointed but the hunt is fun. So far I've only found an Articuno and he ran away, but I'm going to keep trying!

I use my daily incense every day, I had a 4 month period where a gal bird didn’t even spawn once and I kind of got used to just using it everyday just to walk and not even thinking about the gal birds. I had already caught zap and arti by this point but with the new season I’ve seen all 3 spawning regularly again so hopefully molt comes this year lol

I want to see exclusive rewards for the platinum medals, like the vitamins that you can use to manually increase a pokemon's IVs in the mainline games. Maybe a platinum achievement medal can grant a vitamin that raises all three stats of a pokemon by one, and maybe add a platinum gym badge level that could grant a random HP Up, Protein, or Iron. This would reward longtime grinders with a feature that lets them boost their favorite pokemon that they wish were stronger. The vitamin could also leave a different color on the IV chart so manually boosted hundos are still recognizable from natural hundos. A man can dream...

@Mystic7 The cave/underground feature would be cool; but i think it would be more like dungeons system where you battle wild powered up pokemon catching them along the way to fight the final boss and catch it, just like dynamax adventures from Sword and sheild + you could also receive items and chose one of the pokemon you encountered in the dungeon - dungeons could have limits to what pokemon can come in or you could rent pokemon for the dungeon. Basically Dynamax adventures(potentially when dynamaxing and gigantimaxing is added?

Fun idea for a future video (even though you have done some of these). If you have a follow up of features you are no longer able to get in PoGo. Some pokemon years ago had a location unknown tag. I ran across my Wailord that had this. Its a really neat location tag that I don't believe pokemon can get anymore to my knowledge. Love your videos!

5:00 Dragonius GO had the Rift of Arcana that caused alternative spawns to the map. Similar system in Pokemon Go would be nice. If the normal spawns are boring just use a portal to the alternative spawn map. :)

That's a shame, I'd probably enjoy using the Team Medallion to be on Team Rocket. Good idea, shame it would never happen though. Another thing I believe Niantic will never do is give us more members of Team Go Rocket. We rarely see Giovanni, Jessie and James and it's mainly Grunts. Sierra, Arlo and Cliff. I think it would be cool to see more members of the organization such as Cassidy, Butch, Domino, Annie, Oakley, Arianna, Archer, Proton and Petrel just to name a few, plus I doubt Niantic would ever improve the avatar customization any further than they already have. I don’t know why Niantic has yet to implement boosted shiny odds for completing a region(Kanto, Johto, etc.)? It’s the equivalent of getting the shiny charm for PokéDex completion. Also if a Pokémon has a regional form, you have to complete the region that form came from for it to have the boosted odds.

they should add trading stops, where you can place a pokemon in the pokestop and ask for a other pokemon in exchange. an other player could trade you that mon that you ask for if they go to the stop, could help people finish there dex. there could be 3 trading spot per trading stops( a time limite for the trades and a voting systeme to take out a bad trades would be needed.)

( especially killing your Pokémon becomes a issue after fighting team rocket and raids so easily ) Limited by either once every 30 mins or hour. Niantic should allow us to make different pokeballs with the souvenirs from our buddies. Like how you can make different types of pokeballs in the games when you collect apricorn from trees. For example, be able to make love balls, dark balls, net balls, lure balls, heavy balls, ect....

Story about the birds. So a couple days ago i spawned a moltres and I used a golden razz and ultra ball, didnt hit it but my buddy bounced it back and i literally caught it. Today, I encountered a Zapdos, in the same exact spot the motored spawned.

I like the free incubator at lv.50 , buuut personally I’ve always though we should have three free incubators, one unlocked when you start your account , one when you hit lv.31 , as you also unlock the ability too then create poké stops and then the final one for lv.50. People might not spend as much , on paper…. But in practice I feel they’d actually spend more.. as now youd have the three so you could use those on the weaker 2/5k eggs , and just buy advanced incs for the others if you were the type to buy them already , it would also help clearing space for if they never implement the transfer button for the eggs.. and yeah obviously you’d just get through it a lot quicker with a base 3 instead of the one..

4:57 I thought so, since most PokeStops are based on some portals from Ingress. Then why not add the other portals as PokeStops in this underground world? Let's say that in this subterranean world there could be more Stone, Ground or Prehistoric Pokemon. Alternatively, new items would be available, e.g. fossils or eggs containing prehistoric Pokemon. In addition, this underground world would be necessary to explore, any PokeStops would be invisible until we stand next to them, or only a small area would be visible (similar to older pokemon games). Creating such an underground world could be a prelude to adding biomes to Pokemon Go.

1. At level 50 you should get a shiny tool that allows you to turn any non-legendary pokemon into its shiny version but makes it untradeable to prevent it from being exploited it. 2. Adding team rocket would be super fun. The pokemons on the gym should get the shadow buff, you battle the three teams leader and dr willow as the boss. it would create an awesome dynamic. 3. Not sure about the ash, mystic and brook. I hope at least they add their clothes to the shop. 4. For the eggs, Niantic makes a lot of money on eggs. One alternative solution is having the ability to discard one egg every 7 days at level 50. You can discard any egg that you got by mistake. 5. You can get one free incubator every week that cant be stacked at level 50. Seems like a reasonable request. 6. Having underground sounds like an amazing idea but expensive to develop. I cant imagine Niantic doing that. 7. The temporary pokestop is something that I wish we had for people with disabilities or people that are unable to leave. something like having a system to prove why you cant leave and it gives you a free pokestop with the same features as the incense. 8. I personally like how impossible to catch the galarian birds are. It'll be super rewarding the day you get it. (I havent got one yet 🥲) 9. for the social interaction. I wish we could at least send predetermined messages like. I'm free to raid or look to trade (send trading requests). and please allow lucky trades to be international even if its just the lucky pokemon.

I think the charms could actually work in the game. Make them like the daily adventure incense and last only 15 min at a time. That way when an event or raid occurs players will have to decide: "Ok. Do I use my shiny charm for temporary increased shiny odds or do it use my catch charm to increase my odds of catching that elusive Hundo or Galarian bird?"

My ideas for new features, though these aren't quite out of the question. Destiny Knot, a new item that can be added to a trade to maintain stats of a traded pokemon. Weekly tasks, even if the rewards are minor just give players something bigger to work on than field research; IE make 100 excellent throws in a week, get 20 ultra balls.

Call me crazy, but after years of thinking theyll put it back in, they just havent and its left a hole in my soul. foot steps, or any way to "track down" a pokemon, instead of just knowing where it is. Daily incense was a great step forward, it scratches that itch, but its completely local, and no one else can see it. There should be a story mode like the daily incense, but not an item, rather a feature of its own. I also want to have some sort of user generated gameplay besides just leaving a pokemon and dropping a lure people can see. Maybe pokestops can be upgraded into certain things, like a healing center, breeding center, maybe even mini gym. I would also like to see a hold function like in the old games, where you can give an pokemon certain souvenirs, berries, or items the pokemon can use during battle one times, or raids, etc. That would be great way to introduce item swapping with a trade. Would also be cool to see wild pokemon go shadow during a rocket event, and we have to fight them to snap them out of it.

What I would LOVE, in lieu of in-game chat, is an alert when you're about to hit Best Friends. "While you were out, your friend opened your gift, increasing your friendship level." I'm sure so many people can relate to this. You meet somebody, and then for whatever reason you don't see them in person often. Sometimes one of you accidentally opens the gift at 11:55pm while speeding through gift openings (I mean, don't we all do that?) only to realize you've missed out on TONS of XP a few seconds too late. I'd love an advanced notification as we open the game that alerts us, and maybe even offers the ability to put on a lucky egg right from that screen!

Maybe they could do a shiny charm for each generation, and if you complete one generation all of that generations pokemon would have a slightly higher chance of being shiny.

Maybe allow us to exchange XL candies for basic candies. We can already exchange 10 basic candies for an XL candy but when you have more xls than basics and the pokemon you need them for is rare, seasonal or tied to events , it's kinda hard to get more candies.

We actually can't get rid of eggs without hatching in the main series, however the difference is that we don't need to pay to hatch multiple at once

Yeah it would be nice to be able to get rid of eggs or have a egg satchel where you could put extra eggs into have it hold like 25 eggs and it would be all the same type once you put one egg in you can't put any other type in until you finish all the eggs inside and have it where you have one permanent satchel and you can buy one from the store on top of it and you can hold up to 3 and you would have to walk .2 more then the egg

I never understood why they didnt have a basic pokemon league storyline. Gym leaders spawn at gyms, you battle for badges, and fight the elite four. Easy.

I would love the ability to lucky mirror trade with no distance limit. Especially with this Scatterbug badge, I've got a lot of international friends, and chances are, even if I do go to Norway, Japan, or Australia, the odds of me ending up in the exact right place to find my lucky friends based solely on where their gifts came from are slim to none. Make the ability to open the trade window, offer say 3 Pokemon you want to trade. Your lucky friend can then open the trade window, click on one you have for trade and it will bring up all of the exact same thing (so an offered shiny must be matched with a shiny) in their inventory. Or they can reject your 3, make an offer on their own and it comes back to you to pick one you'd like.

We don't need Ash, but Misty, Brock, Erika, etc. are GYM LEADERS, which should be added. We should be able to get the Rainbow Badge. I've said this for years and I don't know why nobody ever talks about incorporating them. They're the most major part of the game that is not in Pokemon Go.

I'm just hoping that they go back and touch up the ar buddy feature so that your pokemon can chill out and relax again, and I say again because it used to be a thing. Nowadays, buddy pokemon look like they're ready to either attack you, or don't let their guard down like they don't trust you; Also some bird pokemon are just indefinitely suspended in the air save for the 2 second meal breaks.
