Honestly, the Tentacruel question was the hardest one in Hard. The rest were pretty obvious changes, but Tentacruel was a minor shade swap for one part that I'm not sure I'd notice even if I knew it was swapped. I only missed that one and the Legendary Bird question.

Same here honestly, I picked Zapdos first but realized that Zapdos' shiny did look like that in the original sprites so.... I went with Articuno because Articuno is a light shade blue but somehow he looked purple on the video. Then it was Zapdos so that's fun.

Question number 6 was SO hard, much much harder than all of the questions that came after imho. And I say that while I love the Tentacool and Tentacruel line, both the OG colors and the shinies, that I have hunted for. At first I thought something was off with one of them but I couldn't decide which... so I thought the answer was Bellsprout because of its mouth. I also got the legendaries (and Pidgey) wrong, but that one was still easier in comparison. Fitting difficulty for the last master question though! The Zapdos totally tricked me in blending so well with the others so I went with the idea that Moltres' beak and legs or talons were another shade of pink for some reason. 9 out of 11, for a generation that globally isn't my favorite, not too bad in the end!

Gen 1 shinies have always been so great! And as a shiny hunter ( *and absolute nerd* ) i got all of them right! Though i ALMOST failed the Tentacruel answer, i just got it right because i thought the tentacles were a bit too bright 😅 ( man, i didn't remember the tentacles were actually that bright ) I absolutely love these shiny quizzes, Noki! I absolutely LOVE these quizzes. When Rapidash popped up for the Blue buddies, I immediately knew that it was the fake, because I used it on my Legends: Arceus team, and I remember that its flames were a pale purple, so the literal minute it was on screen I was like, "Its Rapidash". Please never stop making these quizzes, because I plan to use these for my friends and siblings, and I would LOVE to see how they do with Gens 2-8

The legendary birds stumped me. But only because the "fake" Zapdos is but a subtle tinge darker than the real shiny - Zapdos' shiny has always been obviously darker to me, especially in the feet. Plus, shiny Pidgey depicted here is a little desaturated - it's supposed to be a bit more golden/yellow (but that is probably just the way the HOME sprite was made.)

I love these quizzes you put together. Its a fun way to test my knowledge as a shiny hunter. I usually wind up with one or 2 wrong per quiz. The Mimes did not trick me because I've found so many in pokemon go, its embedded in my brain lol This one, i was only wrong on the tentacruel one on this one. Also was today years old when i learned Doduos neck color is gender dependent.

These quizzes are great! Definitely did better on this gen 1 quiz than the others. Got 10/11. The Tentacruel was the only one that tripped me up. From doing Zapdos raids in PoGo I made a trick for telling shiny Zapdos apart. I literally never pay attention to the body. Only the beak and feet. Which ironically I would've figured it out quicker if I paid attention to the body this time, but the beak and feet weren't saturated enough either so I could still tell it was off. 🤣

1. C 2. A 3. B - dragonair is actually super cool with its pink but has gold gems (dragonite is green to be fair) 4. C 5. A easy venusaur is way more orange in the plant 6. the only one i know right for sure is victrebeel (unless that green leaf at the end is intentionally miscolored and not an editing error) the others i am struggling to think if they have slight variance or not i do fee like one of the bellsprout line was off but i cant remember wich one i also think one of the tentacools was slightly darker or lighter..... im leaning towards one of the tentas but i know if one is wrong then the other is right very tricky to tell with these renders what is color and what is lighting effect....... locking in C 7. B easy i would say its more silver in most renders/models though the purple tint in home is a bit odd 8. A so so easy i have him in the weird minecraft looking switch game (pokemon quest?) 9. A easy thats my green kiwi boy 10. i know articuno is pale blue, moltres is burnt chicken, zapdos im not sure but pretty sure its still yellow or maybe a jolteon like green, pidgey im confident is a yellow/gold tint but again these home models shading makes me less certain about which is the correct shade and which may have been lightened in a way i dont recognize... i think i will lock in A articuno though, i do not remember the beak being that color bonus: 4 or 9 i know its green (4 is the one i would prefer to be real i like when all colors change on certain pokemon) also also to be fair dratini is also pink and you get it as a reward for beating white forest in pokemon white 2! 6 makes me sad my brother had one oh that bird grrr yes now i remember zapdos really is that bad thats why i couldnt remember what it looked like so two wrong for me maybe a halfsie on the mr mine since i went over 10 seconds deliberating i did have a phase where i was ranking all shiny pokemon in order though and finished most of gen 1 and 2 i would probably have more trouble with later gen shinies

Honestly, this one might’ve been harder if Let’s Go pika/eevee didn’t exist ^^; spent so much time shiny hunting in that game. That’s why I got every question right. question 5 was SUPER easy for me, got it before seeing any other options, because I HAVE a shiny Venusaur that I caught in pokemon Go. Shiny god(9) and mr.mime, which was guess between 4 and 9. I only missed 9 because I thought abra had been more pink, like alakazam. Tentacruel was difficult, but I had gotten lucky and found a shiny tentacruel in a recent randomized in Pokemon brick bronze(roblox.) Its my first shiny ever caught, and I will continue to catch more. This was a amazing video as always:D thank you Noki!

I got 1-9 correct. I got 6 right for the wrong reason, because I thought the tentacles looked off. On 10 I was between Pidgey and Articuno but picked Articuno because I didn't think it was that monochromatic. But clearly I was wrong. Zapdos man, its shiny is even worse than I thought. The bonus was quite easy, I expected some shiny Persian pain.
