Oh my goodness! I believe I used a light washes of shimmering iriodin sterling silver, very light touches of quinacridone deep gold and very light touches of Payne’s grey. Using lots of water helped keep these colors light as I really wanted the titan buff to be predominant in that section. I LOVE watching paints merge and react to each other! Metallics are breathtaking to watch on the page, they kinda sizzle, it's so cool! Too bad we don't live close to each other, I'd love to paint and hang out with you! I'm so glad you got a chance to get your paints out again! Hi Gabrielle, greetings from County Durham in the UK. I’m really enjoying this, your latest. I too love using lots of water with granulating Daniel Smith colours. I thought you might be interested to see a couple of images I made of Durham Cathedral where I was ordained and of the Castle opposite 😊 I pray that it won’t be too long before you and your husband feel thoroughly at home.
