Nice vid. I’ve discovered an amazing MA in Ottoman history taught in English with no tuition fees at the university of Crete. My background is in Ancient Greece and didn’t know much of the Ottomans but like what I’ve discovered. I LOVE islands and this could be my path into Greece so I’ll probably try going for it , never thought academically I’d settle on the Ottomans but as I said it could let me live and hopefully stay on Crete so lol 😁

Nice video and explanations😃!! Really is such an amazing place!! Just a little remark, not sure if you realized it but many of the Greece footages depicting Crete, are actually from other locations in either the mainland or islands. Maybe you can put a little disclaimer so people won't be confused if they try to look for that exact spot in Crete hehe 😅

I wonder if there is somewhere decently priced that I can go with my disabled brother and carer, my husband and other brother.

There are still some places, but known only by locals. I advise you to go there if possible, and talk with locals :)

You showed a lot of video of places on other continents.

You ramble on how it’s all great why not put figures and facts to the actual costs off living.

That's another topic, this video talks about the good reasons, not the bad ;)

It's very very expensive here now 2.14 a litre for petrol the most expensive in Europe making goods and services expensive and it's a struggle for Greeks and expats alike.
