Kraven has always been my 2nd favorite marvel character aside of Venom, but this shit is truly the dark side of Marvel wich is brutal and amazing, just like the punisher it's brutal in detail and i hope they will bring the brutality on screen as they do as far as i can see on the trailers and this clip, hope the movie is going to be amazing!

Both Kraven and Wolverine share that primal, animalistic nature, along with their exceptional tracking abilities. However, Kraven has a certain ruthlessness and single-minded determination that sets him apart. He’s a character that really embraces his darker, more savage side, making him both intriguing and chilling in equal measure. He first appeared in the Spider man series and he gave Spider man a very hard time. In the comics he wasn't as terrifying. In this movie, he is fashioned in a different role. One of a vigilante or bounty hunter for those who seem to think themselves untouchable. He is the ultimate hunter. It should be an amazing show.

It's important that there are basically 2 "Marvels." The MCU which is Iron Man, Avengers, Thor, etc, etc. And then the SONY Marvel which is Spider-Man and all Spider-Man characters like Venom, Morbius, Madame Web and...Kraven. When Spider-Man appears with the Avengers in "Infinity War" he is basically "on loan" from SONY. Kraven, being a Spider-Man villain is in the SONY Marvel Universe. So when we say "getting Marvel back on track" we could mean the SONY Marvel or the Disney Marvel (aka MCU). Or both. I think both universes could improve. But the SONY Marvel needs a hit the best after the last few disasters.

I’ve seen the justifications for why Kraven has the name he does but the simplest one is that Stan Lee didn’t know what the word “craven” actually means. Shades of James Watson and his central dogma (he admits he didn’t know what the word “dogma” meant and now we’re stuck with it in biology)

I don't see this going anywhere as a franchise. There used to be "Turok the Hunter" in comic books, with realistic artwork. When I think Kraven I also think the Kraken. I didn't see a creation story for his hyper-strength, thinking he's not an actionable super-hero.
