The problem with watching sparing of DEVIN or SHAKUR is that their styles of boxing are made to dominate sparing. In a real fight with 8oz gloves no head gear, it's a totally different fight, almost night and day.

One thing I noticed about shakur is he will never engage first instead he'll wait till the opponents throw and then throw. So maybe a fighter with fast combination and hand speed will give him trouble like a keyahawn davis.

Nah These fighters fight once or barely twice a year. . Real boxers and boxing fans want to see training and sparring. To learn somethings , have combinations to practice, film study. And just for flat out entertainment purposes this aint baseball when you get to watch your favorite team play 160 +games a year. Or basketball 82+ plus playoffs. Or football 17 games plus play offs if your team make it in. This is boxing we only get to see our favorite fighters fight once or barely twice a year.

Clearly, the guys that Stevenson is sparring are not allowed to really challenge his technique. His head never moves when he's punching and only fights off of first contact. After that, he does not know how to pull counter off of the front foot or the back foot. Just a stale guard with no feints, and no circling his opponents to create angles, etc. And you clowns think that he's a great boxer. He is not.
