That was on a high fence ranch that’s why. Them deer don’t fear anything so they don’t really keep their guard up like free range deer. Plus you don’t shoot deer in velvet down here, she did cause high fence is under MLD permit so they can start hunting in September.

Interesting, ever been to texas to deer hunt? I’ve seen deer that were bigger in missouri, illinois and Ohio. None were fenced or pets. Thinking you don’t appreciate how big deer can get if they are managed properly 😎
