You can get Rafael and have the Best ending to the quest if you read all the notes. There is no quest log updates but if you figure it out there is a 3rd option

I'm actually kinda shocked that Hadrian Sanon's Xenosociology was so low. I wasn't expecting lvl 4 but...lvl 3 for sure. I mean considering (no spoilers) what she was apart of you would think that part would be way higher.

For the pilot in Cydonia, you can persuade the Ecliptics, get him released, go to your ship, and REENTER the ship to kill the mercenaries. This lets you both get the pilot and save the ship.

Jessamine is great if you're a morally questionable character, maybe not the best comabt chracter but I gave her a Magshear and she's perfectly fine. Her theft skill means she also regularly gives you 400-500 credits, which isn't much but hey free money. Mathis Castillo also an option here, has Incapacitation 2 so give him an EM weapon and he won't steal your kills.

Great list, ty. Btw, concerning Amelia Earheart... it's not guaranteed that you can recruit her regardless of how you play the mission out. If you shoot any of the clone settlers during the final conflict, Amelia will attack you and you won't be able to recruit. Additionally, even if you are successful in recruiting her, she can turn against you if you kill any spacers during ship combat (even if you are just defending yourself) and she will complain and remain completely inactive on your ship, indefintely.

Interesting, she had told me that no matter how it played out she would want to join. I even had an end where I attacked one of the groups on the planets and she still joined. Did have the quest bug on me a few times and turn everyone hostile randomly

@@Nickaroo93 Insteresting indeed. My first play through, Amelia attacked me in the final shootout and I had to kill her (I was so sad). In my NG+ run through, I recruited her and then she got all huffy with me when I killed spacers who were attacking me and she went AWOL. Maybe I'm just not destined to have her as a companion, lol

I had Amelia Airheart which is a head screw already, but toss on being in a universe where the group is all versions of you, I kinda felt like I was going insane at how to describe this to people.

Btw you’re not suppose to be able to recruit her to way the game. She doesn’t exist. None of the people in the cruiable are actually there. It’s just a test to see if the player understands the unity and how to update it. The correct way to “recruit” her is actually to friend rhea and Sarah and they end up KEEPing U instead of the other way around ;-)

The chick on the ship above Paradiso is in the "derelict" ship's food growing area. Leads to the quest to get 50 potatoes if you fail the speech test.

You know where a good place to find potatoes is? I've only found a couple. (You have to pick the option to get them a grav drive and then then next time you go to the ECS Constant after they move, you can hail them before docking and the navigator will tell you about the problem, and when you get on board and walk through the ship you will overhear the quest for her.)

​@TminusDoom I've gotten 40 so far just doing regular quests and raiding pantries but you could buy them from shops then wait till they restock and do it that way. I just don't worry about it and have fun and save every potato

I really hope they add a companion that gives perks to using auto-turrets on your ship. There's one for everything else but not that as far as I can find.

I only know of one more, if you decide to make a video with all companions combined. Mathis Castillo, the other Crimson Fleet recruit, can be recruited if you help him throughout the Crimson Fleet quest line and side AGAINST the UC at the end. Unless you count the NG+ universe variation companions, but that is very much spoiler territory...

when finding Barrett's at end you meet Moare Otero there options on that charter to ask if he like join your crew after mission return to mars to bar and you pick up this free star ranger for your crew he sitting on bench as you enter the bar his skills are Emp 2 and markmenship 2 this only freestar ranger ive found in game thats can be recruted as part your crew that ive found so far happy space trale you all hope this help someone

Crew members, you have to pay for, as well as the bountyhunter. These crew members, unlike the goodie gang. Hire crew Don't care about your choices in the game. So yes, if you're thinking of a character that's a cutthroat assassin or all-arounded bountyhunter with no feelings. Then I would highly recommend going hired crew. If you're looking for love, all that fars, then say yes to goodie gang. Example to try: Paradiso 200 generation colony ship. Take one goodie gang in. Then Take hire crew in. This will prove my reasoning. Goodie gang reacts to everything, choices given to you. Happy your going spend your own money on a grav drive. Hire crew doesn't say anything to the choices given. Ended their lives got paid 2500 free pass to resort.

I need to level up my ship commander skill because right now I can only have up to 4 crew and I jacked a great ship that fits 7 iirc. But it sounds like the skill leveling is borked and I have to use a smaller ship to level it up or something. Annoying.

I kinda screwed the pooch with Mathias but I'm not broken up about it. He was annoying and was really eager (ON HIS FIRST JOB BTW) to kill the leader of the Crimson Pirates for some fast cash. I picked the (depending on how you look at it) incorrect option to have him join my crew but..tbh..I'm glad it worked out that way. Hes kinda a psycho. Plus I met up with him and a few of his buddies in space combat..smoked them of course but its kinda neat that he actually tried to kill you (acting on his threat from when he was kicked out of the Crimson Pirates).

I wanted to board his ship, kill him, and make his ship mine, but his ship always ended up blowing up somehow. His buddies could all be dead, engines offline, but the smallest asteroid piece would dink his ship and make it explode. I tried for an hour with no luck, so I gave up.

Have seen the Shadowy Hunter guy there before as well in Viewport and I’m not on NG+ as it’s my first play thru. I happened to notice him while standing just outside Jamason Mercantile as it seemed unusual to see a shadowy NPC jumping down from a building all in black and then walking into Viewport. I thought weird, but interesting. It was later on I went into Viewport and there he was in the corner. So struck up conversation with him and it was quite cryptic the conversation.

Hadrian has so much character and is crucially important to the main quest line how'd you completely forget her.... also I'd been looking for a place to rant about something didn't bother me but it did I installed a few body mods male and female and something oddly weird has happened I don't think its a bug I think the mod actually revealed something hidden a few of my uniquid name followers has been affected by the body mod specifically the male body mod has affected a few of my female unique named followers by a few I mean at least 5. Three out of 5 I was 100% sure that they we're trans characters but the last 2 boy a'int no way. I'll just name 2 here and if anyone has obtained every single unique follower and has body mods installed same effect should happen unless mod author removed it, we all know what happened with the gender mod. I don't want no smoke so I chose my words thoughtfully.

So i start playing today, and i have been turned into a chick. Dude this whole time, a quest glitched, reload old save and im a butch chick. Only in a bethesda game... Spent three days replaying last 10 levels because I missed Heller and now the mission to get him is glitched on replay... no quset marker after recruiting lin to find him...
