Hi! Well, nothing really wrong with it, just locals seemed to prefer pants with a shirt or a blouse to overly casual clothes like shorts and tank tops, even in hot weather! If sticking out is not your concern, it's mostly fine, but if you wanna blend in, i'd avoid wearing them.
