Hi there! I just came across your videos , I hopes of helping my son who has some pretty significant speech articulation issues (he does speech regularly but I feel like this is something added we can do ). I can't wait to have him do this tomorrow, I am hoping that clearer speech will help build his confidence. Thank you for making these

Your channel helped me tremendously for the past few months to improve my speech, I'm an introvert too 😅 and although I'm good at writing, speaking is a totally different story 🙄 so thank you very much 🙏 and keep up the good content ❤️🔥

Thank you Lady Tina, these tongue twisters and all your lessons are such a great help to better my speech. My speech is extremely unclear and so many times I don’t even understand what I’m saying; so other people have a terrible time understanding me when I speak to them. I have a terrible underbite and it makes it extremely difficult for me to enunciate all my vowel sounds, it is a thousand times more difficult to enunciate ALL the sound variations of the “a” “u” and “o”sounds in the English language. Spanish is my first language and the vowel sounds never change. But in English I have a terrible time saying Hut, hot, hat, cup, cap, cop, mom, mum, fact... etc. And I have to find words with the same meaning, that I am able to pronounce a little bit better. I’ve never really had time to practice my speech before, being so busy All the time and before the internet. But I’m trying to practice now, because my jaw feels weaker, my tongue feels lazier, and my speech is getting worse by the minute! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I speak with customers All day long, and it’s very hard for them to understand what I’m saying, and a lot of the time I don’t understand myself. Some of the people that I work with giggle and make fun of me, others just get upset, because they can’t understand me 😢 So, I appreciate your lessons very much, I’m grateful for your help, and will continue to practice the tongue exercises and tongue twisters, diligently! 😭😭😭😭 Thank you sooo much!

Great Video Lady Tina. I speak fast some times and I find I do not enunciate my words clearly. Performing these type of exercises, do they help out in long terms or do they help as warm ups each day? Or both?
@TinaLeder4 жыл бұрын
Great question Edgar. The purpose of this is to start by targeting the direct problem here, and then due to muscle memory, you'll start to do it in your conversations. It helps if you're conscious about the way you speak depending on your goals, but isn't entirely necessary if you practice enough for muscle memory to kick in.
