@@biggreen1456 The prerendered cutscenes were almost certainly handled by a separate department, so I wouldn't say it took priority over the finale. Although the ending FMV ALSO clearly needed more polish since the ReMind patch touched it up as well XD

“More evidence?” The game was worked on for 5 years in its final state. Content has to be cut sometimes. That doesn’t mean the game is rushed. Look at all the cut content of the other KH games (which had much shorter Dev times). Does that mean they were rushed too?

@@Erikthedood I really have to point out that the ReMind patch making significant edits to a number of cutscenes and visual/audio elements purely in the Keyblade Graveyard and ending FMV is a pretty obvious indicator that the team was running out of time before the initial release. And this is before we get into a significant chunk of the paid ReMind content largely just being an excuse to redo the finale.

In the secert episode doesnt yozora say something about how his current form isnt his normal one? What if that scrapped yozora design might be related to how hes supposed to look like? What if the idea of Sora being on the Invictus cover was that its Yozora's true form and that Unreality is a mirror that has different versions of the characters we know? Sora's Unreality counterpart is Yozora, so what if people like Riku or Kairi also have Unreality conterparts that look like them?

I do consider it plausible since the Ice Labyrinth DOES ultimately feel completely out of nowhere as-is in the final game and forcing Square Enix to change and/or discard stuff they already were working on because "brand image" does feel like something the modern Disney exec's would do... It doesn't help that 2019 was also the year Frozen 2 was due to come out so Disney's execs were probably also worried that letting KH3 take liberties with the first movie's plot would "confuse" people somehow. :/

I actually played the Showcase back when it was happening, you were only able to play for 30-ish minutes to a 1 hour (Enough to finish one world) then you had to go elsewhere

My guess is that the unused Sora icon is for when he running out of breath underwater. The idea was probably scrapped early in development when they hadn't made Sora's pirate outfit yet.

The face thats cut for the hud reactions... likely is drowning. Cause later in the game ya got Pirates of the Caribbean with all the swimming mechanics actually functioning... but there's like no breathing requirements which i did find alittle odd because it adds the question of every other worlds water areas being noticeably non existing. Tangleds Damn being one of them actually... they have to escape a flooding cave before they drown in the movie. Thats nowhere in the game and the Dam area let alone the Tavern of bandits which are the best characters in the entire movie. The Baker one is at least... so with all that cut but being pretty crucial to the plot of that film it could be related.

@@TRVPHAUSAs I mentioned if it was about KH4 sure that's understandable. They're rooting through game files of an old game at this point. I don't see them really see them using many assets from KH3, as KH4 is in a different world do they'd make new assets anyway. Unfortunately people won't always follow a ToS. Since people were probably going the game files through copies of the game they brought on PC it's not exactly a security breach per say. I've never understood why companies don't just take the files off the end product before releasing it (I'm not a programmer etc so my knowledge is limited on this aspect) it'll save them some major issues outside of cyber attacks obviously. What's with the lame attempt at reverse psychology with those questions... Did you think that would actually work?
