I am thinking about a new type of restaurants : eating-spots, in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate. this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are way more powerful than restaurants. along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days, menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

I have been laid off for about 5 months. I used the time to take a few courses on 3d design using Blender that I got from Udemy, I love Udemy! I sell the virtual products I create in Secondlife. Allot of upfront work and learning, I am actually still learning and improving daily from KZbin and am taking an in-game class that is 1 hour a week for 50 weeks. My sales are very poor at the moment, mainly from lack of content finished and up for sale. There is a fairly large learning curve with the program, uploading and posting to the secondlife marketplace. As well as the in-game marketing. It isn't the fastest thing to do but the Blender program is free and KZbin has more than enough content that Udemy isn't necessary. I'll say this again just because of some of the comments " it is allot of upfront work" but once the work is done it will sale for a very long time. I see people that buy things made 7 or 8 years ago!

@Daniel Iles In fact all passive income isn’t really passive. What’s passive about the income is that once you put the work in to create the thing, you then can sell and sell since it’s already done. Yes Ive created passive income - in the past 20yrs online its been via 2 methods, 1 online dating and 2 via selling business books and manuals. However the downside of affiliate marketing such as online dating was that ...over many times other companies have changed their commission plans on me or the ways that Ive reached my percentage levels. In the end selling books and running seminars promoted online where I own the intellectual property has been more reliable.

I've been making videos regularly for about a year and a half now, and after about 1 year got to monetize...I still haven't been paid as it hasn't reached $100, but I do it in addition to my full time work. As well as being something I am passionate about and brings meaning to my life, I feel like it's something that would be able to provide more opportunities like the other ideas you suggest, as well as potentially money to use to invest in order to create wealth in the long run. It's great to be building, but I will say that while in the long term it will hopefully become passive income (with older videos still being watched etc), for the time being, it is a lot of investment of time and dedication to get it to the point that it could be possible, and I think that's important to emphasize, it that there is a lot of work involved in making a "passive" income! :)

1. That takes a lot of time and KZbin is saturated as hell. The folks that are successful with KZbin are the ones that been on here for more than 5 years. 2. based on what? 3. That takes a lot of time. 4. Lead on what? 5. It costs money to make money. How does one deal with scammers & sellers fees on Amazon & Ebay? When shit goes downhill, it always seems to be the customer, not the worker that benefits in the end. 6. I'm pretty sure those spots are taken already. 7. Who's trained to be an online teacher on KZbin? 8. That requires a lot of money. More than $50,000 to be precise. The people that make money on the internet were the guys who really couldn't strike it rich in real life. Soulja Boy produced, rapped, made a dance, and wrote his song all on his own because he was too poor to pay for studio time. Luckily, there's free software on the internet that allows guys like him and future rappers to do it all on their own. But....that's all I'm gonna say for right now. 10. stranger danger.

I am drawn toward the "passive income" model but the consumerizm and advertizing involved is a huge turn off. I don't want to drive traffic make money from adds I want to serve people I want to fulfill a need I want to provide a service. I don't want to drain resources. I am ok with affilate marketing but I don't imagine pushing sales to the point of profit. I still feel there is something out there without me feeling like a sell out

That passion you have is the reason you will succeed once you get started. You should create your own product - write a short book maybe? Marketing is inevitable but doesn’t ever have to be sleezy - just be honest like you are here. I think the steps for this kind of income is book, Udemy course, membership site. But “passive income” is deceptive - yes you do all the work up front, but as soon as you publish you have to start marketing and not stop as long as you want to make money from your endeavor.

One thing no one speaks of. Investing and hoarding shares of a growth company with growth on the horizon.. (example amazon, Tesla, Netflix) ....but getting in early in the game. And then SALE covered calls. You become the bank and then earn monthly income off the premiums which are the gamblers who buy calls. This is how the rich get richer. Takes no effort. Just discipline and patience as you accumulate your shares in time. The goal is to be the bank and casino with investing.

Investing in rental real estate can be a good source of passive income. Except if something at the property breaks and you have to fix it, or a tenant moves out and you have to find a new renter, in which case it's no longer passive, or unless the tenants decide not to pay, in which case there's no income.

What would you say is the best entry level passive income to start with in regards to upfront costs to get going and making money? Thanks
@henriettakoffi64025 жыл бұрын
Liam Hatton mind if I answer? Write and publish short how to book using Amazon’s book platform, gain some followers. Use it to create a course on Udemy, gain more followers, then create a membership site with a more detailed how to on same topic, after listening to your followers questions and seeing what their biggest challenges are. Market the heck out of all steps. Small to no initial investment, only time but as soon as you finish the book start getting the word out. Good luck.
@Wee_L_LR5 жыл бұрын
@@henriettakoffi6402 Would you recommend doing publishing on a specific niche and build a brand around it, then go the direction of courses and membership sites? Thanks for stepping in and answering?
@henriettakoffi64025 жыл бұрын
Liam Hatton Hey Liam. Niches are always best. And best not to tackle something huge because you’ll probably never publish. Popular opinion says you should decide who your audience is before you write your book or pick out your product. But for someone who hasn’t done anything like this yet I say find something you know, even if there’s plenty of stuff on that topic, and start from there. Even if your audience doesn’t find you right away you will have taught yourself the steps to getting this done. Then, based on your response you can create the next one and understand better who your audience is. For instance, I used to teach a computer for beginners class from which i saw I needed a “complete beginners class, a iPhone for beginners class, an Android phone for beginners class, a website 101 class and an “online entrepreneur club”. All based on responses I got from that first set of ten students, who asked question, and talked to their friends.

Nice! I noticed that a big thing on kindle now is writing books in a series - Book 1, Book 2, etc. I’ve gotten hooked on several of those, and end up paying $15 to finish a series, which is what writers like Nora Roberts gets for one book. Not complaining though - one thing about avid readers like me is that once you enter a world through a book you always want more. And Kindle writers can pump their books out faster, unlike big writers who, because they work with publishing houses, publish once every two years. Good luck!

You can batch them all at the start and drip feed the content over a period of time. So instead of doing them monthly you have predone all the content. Then when you run out just do another batch. Or you can do something like access to photo library or content library.
