"People don't care to get good, they care to get money." Thank you for sharing that you made this mistake, Dan. It was just a tiny phrase in the video but it moved me deeply. I made this mistake in my coaching business last year. I've been guilt tripping myself because of it for MONTHS. I fell into the get rich quick shit and lost my purpose. I had forgotten why I started and it was not about supporting others with my knowledge anymore. It was just about "who is up next to pay me" and about push marketing... It took really long till I could forgive myself for it cause im hindsight I felt so ashamed of this ego-driven behavior. I have recovered now and am building momentum again. I can see and feel my WHY again and I am definitely building my business with the long-term vision in mind from now on.

Dan, I am very grateful for this video. It is amazing how you put this information out for free, apart from your payed courses, and that you are willing to give out so much value for your audience without promoting the courses in some aggressive or intrusive manner like some creators do. It provides the listener with a feeling of loyalty and trust and actually creates a consideration of buying something. Very intelligent! The haircut also suits you well. Thank you! 🙏

This video helped me once again to anchor even more this whole concept that you teach and share with us Dan. I set myself a goal to finish your whole "The one person business" series. One video a day and after I go and do some practical steps toward building my business. Improve a little here, polish something there. Go out and share my message. Start to think in more practical way. I always struggled with being stuck in the phase of "I need to learn more before I can..." and by following you and your passion and action taking process I got more active myself.

The speaker in the video emphasizes that the best online business to make $1 million in 3-5 years is an actual business model, not a side hustle or a quick fix. They suggest that the best business model is one that generates revenue, has cash flow, and the ability to scale and pivot in the market regardless of algorithm changes and trends. The speaker advises against focusing solely on short-form content marketing and emphasizes the importance of a big picture overview of business and prioritizing becoming the best in that space. Ultimately, the best online business model will depend on individual interests, skills, and passions.

Really liked this video Dan. Seems like this is the future of business for creative types. I like the long game thinking, it's refreshing to hear within the endless 'get rich quick by any means necessary' place that we are in. A message of simplicity. Build traffic. Create an MVO out of a service or product. Service based can be freelancing or teaching type. I resonate with the teaching (coaching/consulting) offer more because of my line of work and interest. Man, I have been searching for a path that will give me freedom around money, time and location. This one person business seems to be it. I like the principle based approach, it allows more people to enter into this space. I am going down the path of holistic health as my service, but with these principles I can apply to my own interests and skills. So for example my Minimum viable offer would be multiple coaching sessions with a specific goal. Fixing posture, teaching them habits to gain more energy, life coaching ect and traffic would be build using a personal brand. I think creating the personal brand is the real gem of the changing future of work. That hit me. thanks again Dan.
