Viktor is still manipulating sound, but he also manipulates energy. The Marigolds seem to be a type of energy, so it makes sense that Viktor can do that.

That could definitely still be the case. I guess I just feel like it’s more than that based on the changes we have seen.

Bens death was so disappointing i thought it would be something cool where he loses control of his power and kills the monster and killing himself in the process i feel like that should have been what the marigold and Durango mix should have down then you can have all the eldritch beast come out of ben's stomache causing cause

There definitely should have been more weight to it, like there was with OG Ben. But I also like the sort of simple and non-dramatic death a bit. We knew it was coming and the show eased the viewers into it. Something about it just worked for me despite it not being over the top.

@The Lane, my guest on how Reginald know of the Apocalypse in the original timeline,had high-tech device to view certain event in time or it accured (Reg was alive to witness it in person )?. And regarding the Marigold released by Reg,at his dying world travels to the nearest living one,Earth(stayed dorment till it found capatable hosts),chose by similar criteria - "example like the Green Lantern ring"& the children it happens to picked were a certain personality/blood type to fit that bill?.

Thats some decent ideas, the Reginald technology thing I think was an explanation in the comics so that is what I would assume right now (Something related to that).

My only question is why was the first apocalypse was supposed to happen? Because when Five first meets the Handler she says the apocalypse is supposed to happen, it's then mentioned again in season 2. I might have just missed something (if i have let me know) but it feels weird that we never got a clear answer, whether it links to season 4 we'll have to see 😅

Well for me, much like the Loki tv series if you have seen that, I believe it isn't a destiny matter and more a who ever is in control wants that to happen. With season 3 we got the discovery 5 created the commission. I take it that this commission founder 5 was the one that somehow put into motion this world ending event to cause the events of the show. In a bootstrap paradox way. Which would be very fitting for a show like this lol

I thought it was because there is only supposed to be one original timeline and when the timeline started changing and multiple variations occurred, the universe set forth apocalypses to fix/end it. In season 1, I think the timeline changed because Reginald let out marigold.

One theory I have is that Ray and Claire will start "glitching". Due to that fact that they're really not supposed to exist in that way (Ray as Claire's Dad). Like the universe "knows" what it's supposed to be, as opposed to the artificial world Reginald and Allison created. I think Allison will get terrified by the way they both act and get away from them. There's also no sight of Ray or Claire in the trailers. And when you consider the "Umbrella Effect" (Mandela Effect) thing going on, it kind of backs up the idea that this false configuration of reality is having issues trying to hold it all together. Maybe everything will be a bit "glitchy" Like whatever is happening with Ben could be a result of how he died in the Jennifer incident. I think that girl on the floor with him is Jennifer. And the burn looking things on both of them could be because they both originally died in some explosion or fire. And now the universe is actively trying to correct things. It reminds me a lot of how certain characters die in Manifest. Basically characters come back to life, but the amount of time they were dead is how much time they have left alive. And when their time is up, they spontaneously experience symptoms of how they originally died. One guy drowned, so when his time was up, he suddenly puked up enough water to fill a bathtub. He then died from "drowning" in the middle of times square. Could be way off but I think it's something like that. None of the other UA members actually died in the original timeline so it makes sense if it is all happening because Ben is supposed to be dead. I also recall some theory that there's more than one Ben in this new reality but I can't remember the reasoning behind that theory.

The multiple Ben theory comes from the s3 post credit scene showing a Ben in Seoul. I do like this idea of yours though, I think it could definitely have some weight to it. It does seem like Ben is having some issues in the trailer that others arent and I feel like the show has to end with the original timeline back somehow.

didn't they also say, that there were 16 children born? with the seven of the umbrella academy and the six of the sparrow plus laila there are still 2 kids left who we don't know yet, im excited for the new "kids"

There were deffo more kids but I doubt we will ever see them as this is the final season and only 6 episodes. So much potential is there though.

I thought it was 43 total powered children. Unless the events of S3 somehow dropped that to 16.

@@Astrovite In season 3 it was 16 but I definitely think that it is now 0. As this new timeline is what Reginald wants it to be, and he managed to save Abigail, I feel like he may have never released the Marigold in the first place. If we somehow get back to the original timeline then for sure it would be 43 again.👍

@@TheLaneDW Oh that's right. Idk how I forgot Harlan not only killed UA Mothers but also other Mothers. And that would make sense that he didn't release it in this reality. Also why it looks like to get their powers back, Reg puts them in those machines.

@@Astrovite That's a good shout, that probably is how they get them back. For some reason this Reginald seems more open to helping from the trailer which is odd.
