Marvel keeps f’ing up, killing this great series and killing ‘the inhumans’ series though to be fair the latter was still born, poor writing , huge potential but to soppy. They can do a good job as with agents of shield.

While I agree with S6-7 still being pretty good and not as bad as fans make it out to be the entire show began to get objectively get worse during s5. There were some great episodes scattered throughout S5-7 but the writing is very obviously not as good as it was in S1-4. Still a good show though and definitely watchable up to S11, I personally sit through the shite that was the entirety of S12-15

When tf does ward go back to S.H.I.E.L.D. I can’t watch the show without him there

imo 4>7>2>3>6>1>5 i will always defend season two, it had some of the best storylines and character work in the whole show. season four and seven were both incredible and used sci-fi concepts really well. i really dislike season five, i just can’t find much about it interesting.

Sazz is alive. There’s no film. They’re making a reality show in the building and the Westies have been “cast,” which is why they aren’t wearing their costumes in the snapshot. Charles’ apartment is bugged and the thing Sazz wrote on the floor was “taping” not Tap In, because they’re tapping him. Actual murder will occur mid-season.

I think Sazz wrote the script and it was stolen from her by Marshall and Bev. He even says he wears glasses when they are not needed. It would be interesting if the gun is shot to eliminate the other or something like that. As a result of stealing the script, they had to kill Sazz to remove her from the picture and to make the movie. There is also a possibility that Sazz is Duddenoff to explain the Westies involvement in this current season.

Whoever made the sound in Sazz’s home will come into play later on. which probably means the killer was in LA at the time that the trio was .

Great rundown. Nevertheless, two unknowns remain: Who is Helga? Who is Dudenoff? Bonus question: What is the pig doing in the sniper's apartment?

Maybe sazz was blackmailed somehow into faking her own death. And the blackmailers are using Jan (maybe even by breaking her out of prison) as leverage to ensure sazz never shows face. I also think that Helga is Loretta or Dudenoff is Sazz or some combination like that. I highly doubt that both of these mysterious people are people we don't know.

Should have stopped at 3, no point to season 4!!

my favourite hot take that i’ve ever seen is a person who absolutely HATED jemma. thought she was a complete sociopath. i genuinely have no idea why. despite the fact that she was definitely dislikable at times, she wasn’t a bad person, just a complex one.

but what if five just showed the train to the family? they could go to random timeline at the end and we could have season 5 or ending where they can be happy

The writers actually commented on Mr Miyagi in an interview. The whole thing about Daniel is supposed to symbolize someone idolizing their parent or grand parent but then realizing they made a big mistake in their life. With the finisher being that Daniel realized it was the mistakes that made Miyagi the good man we see. Which is how I imagine Daniel grows his own roots. The episode batches according to the writers is because they aren’t complete post production and they didn’t want to release all the episodes at once in 2025. They said it was their own choice. Netflix does have involvement in saying when the product is ready. As they are responsible for telling the big three when it’s finished. In terms of no stakes going into S6. It’s mainly because as Schloss noted upon S5. Rivalries were finished, but the characters were not. Many of them had personal goals, motives, that were unfulfilled. Season 5 did not address post secondary as it was summer time. And the tournament is their way of achieving some of that. I do have to disagree with Johnny and Daniel being irreparable. The writers noted and even on first watch. They unlike S4. Learned their lesson, don’t let their squabble get in the way of the kids. Zabka as he states both Daniel and Johnny are stuck in their ways. They need a way to grow their own roots. And Tory the writers said they always planned for Tory’s life to finally go good, and then go back to the shitter. Her poor life at home has been an integral part of her character and what they went with makes sense. Conclusion of what happens to her mother. Kreese has always had a tight relationship with Tory, and he himself shares a similar experience to Tory. Tory still had some favouritism to Kreese, even when she tells him off she never calls the police on him. And since she wants to fight for her mother. Kreese who sees her as his #1 seems valid. The writers said Tory felt she had no choice; so she has nothing against Miyagi Do. But she wants to fight for what Grace would want

I didn’t like it and it didn’t give me the excitement and great feelings I had for the other seasons

Season 5 was awesome and i hate season 6 so far. The writers just seem intent of undoing their and the actors excellent work in season 5 and it’s maddening

actually it felt like the writers totally discarded how monumental season 5 was and just went back to Johnny and Daniel at odds and fighting and even pitting Johnny and Chozen against one another as if they didn’t just go thru this huge thing together where they both nearly died. enough with the Miyagi-Do sensei drama already. They have enemies to fight. Then there is poor Tory. Everyone acted so worried for her to continue fighting cause her mom just died but she walks away and literally nobody goes after her or even seems to care they just let her go. And then act surprised she shows up in a Cobra Kai uniform. Well why shouldn’t she? Clearly nobody cared enough about her to simply go after her and ask her beg her to stay or at least reconsider. One of their best fighters just gone. And the fact that they still wear white belts at practice and black belts at tournaments which is utterly absurd. There are more than two belts by the way. Just watched the final series and absolutely loved it I can’t see what people are complaining about

Underrated

It started as a simple story about a broken man who brings back Cobra Kai karate to not only help a bullied kid defend himself but to bring back purpose in his own life too. And it used nostalgia the right way. Now it’s a dumb sitcom-y show with too many things going on and over exaggerated character traits and arcs

Johnny needs to take back Cobra Kai and win the tourney with Miguel. This show has been all about Daniel the past 2 seasons and the Miyagi glaze is off the charts.

i hated episode 4 like its so simple for who to pick Miguel Won| Hawk Won| Robby was a runner up twice| Tory Won| Sam runner up but well should have won| and the last spot should of gone to kenny who got the spot by beating hawk. Also i don't mind Miguel losing but the way he got bodied as soon as Tory popped up was kind of crazy + Daniel And Johnny arguing about the same thing resolving it then doing it all over again💀

Cobra Kai Seasons 2, 3 and 5 were the best.

I wouldn't read to much into miagi's past, as at the time frame years years ago, america was very one sided towards the japanese, ww2 being very much at the front of everyones mind, so it may well turn out to be a set up against him.... but time will tell

The show has been feeling different since season 3. After season 3 is became more and more over the top with sloppy writing and the overall look And vibe of the show changed. It's more colorful and feels more like a Disney sitcom

I personally had no problem with these episodes. The only slow & strange one was episode 2 other than that they were very good. Regarding Mr miyagi we are yet to learn the whole truth about him maybe learn more in future episodes. As for his legacy is that so important I mean he was young once like all of us & made mistakes. Great twist though that he was in the Sakai talkai. Bring on silver lol

Its very obvious the Miyagi subplot of him stealing and running off to China is suppose to set the stage for the movie next year with Daniel and Mr Han (Jackie Chans character from the remake).

I also hated the sub-plots that made Johnny Lawrence, who, granted, is not the brightest crayon in the box, look like a blithering idiot; all his character development over the past five seasons obliterated by hosting a girls' slumber party complete with cookies and tampons, or standing on an office desk in LaRusso Autos, announcing that he was leaving to start his own car dealership. I mean, AS IF.

I turned it off halfway through the first episode of this season . I couldn’t even tell you why. I’m just done with it I couldn’t get into it. I might try again. But I’m not racing to go and do it !

I think it would be good for the show to have one or two more seasons. I am into Lila & Five. Not sure about her & Diego though. I watched some of the last season before getting to season 3. I know what I am about to say is controversial but I have imagined Five & Lila w/a daughter & she starts developing powers but she feels like an outsider since she is raised by five & she wants to seriously harness her powers while Lila & Diego's daughter (the older one) has powers but she overall cares what others think & wants her life to be as normal as possible. It likes black swan vs. white swan.

coming from a wannabe writer (myself); i think nothing needs to be changed. they just needed more time (like you said) to bring all of the new drama they introduced to a close. meaning they needed AT LEAST the ten episodes; if not a fifth season. although i believe what happened here is a case of the writer strike. writers quitting in protest of their low income, and the show becoming trash without them.

my thought process is why and try make sense of something that isn't trying to make sense of itself, its clear the writers themselves forgot certain aspects of the show, so why try and explain their absence when their is no actual reason for their absence, no explicit or inferred reason. Like with Sloane, originally i came to the conclusion that she didn't exist in this new reality due to Allison's deal with Reginald, only wanting to bring HER family back, but then i heard in an interview that Steve Blackman where he actually stated he had a story with Sloane and Luther planned out for this seasons, but he just didn't have enough time to showcase it, so that negates the possibility of trying to explain Sloane's where abouts because now their is no definitive answer besides the real one, to which we will never know. The rest of the season along with all of its plot holes and inconsistency's follows the same explanation to which i gave, either the writers forgot about aspects of the show, and in that case trying to explain some of these details that have been forgotten will get you no where, because any conclusion you draw will always be incorrect, and a similar premise for if there were story-lines planned and dropped due to the short run time, there is no answer you could possibly come up with because it will always be wrong due to the real answer being canon but never displayed, meaning only the writers will ever know. But to answer the title of the video, no, umbrella academy was never meant to have more than 4 seasons, it was originally pitched for 4 seasons, the reason this season was so bad was because of 2 reasons, the writers strike, meaning the whole plot of season 4 was actually only an early draft of the intended plot that the directors decided to pick up and use for the season itself, and the season being cut short by Netflix with it only being renewed for 6 episodes.

What an uplifting message , " when all seems lost , when you think your loved ones would be better off without you , off yourself ". Nice.
