I have to tell a funny story. Many years ago I was at the restaurant with the guy who at the end of the meal asked for separate checks. The waitress said ok and left the table. After couple of minutes she came back, brought the guy a check and told me: “The manager has taken care of yours.” The guy just had a nervous smirk on his blushed face clearly embarrassed. Clearly there are many gentlemen out there, you just have to know that.

I love Greta! She is definitely pulling for us ladies to bring more positivity into our lives. The only rule I'm not a 100° on board with is, when I'm in a long-term relationship and after the initial phase of dating, occasionally I feel it is the right thing to do to pay for a meal once in awhile. Meaning I might occasionally bring us out to lunch, or breakfast, or grab a couple cocktails before we sit down for dinner. This is only after the man has established that he is willing to be a provider and take care of his woman the majority of the time. A few years ago I went on a date with a less than very appealing guy who worked in my area. He knew me for ten years through friends. He arranged to meet at a bar for snack and drink. He gave me the impression he was gonna cover the bill. Surprisingly he split the bill 💵 making me pay my half. Shocking! I never met him again. He suggested going out again for pizza and drinks another time but I declined.

Thank God he did not forget himself. Pay for the date and then ignore all his future texts/calls. If he persists, just tell him you are no longer interested and don't give him a reason why or you can tell him that we are not compatible. I hope he can figure out the reason is his cheapness. I hate cheap men, modest and economical does not work for me.

If I'm invited and then a guy suggest splitting the bill, I'll pay but definitely not seeing him again. However, I believe that us women should offer to split the bill. Of course, the real man will never let us pay but I'm sure that he will appreciate the gesture. If we end up paying, well that's how we know the guy isn't that much into us. What the hell is the point, I don't get it. Everyone, and I mean everyone has all these rules, all these should and should nots. What the fuck is the point?? Just to be in a relationship for the sake of it. No heart, just mind. There they say to make sure you have the power- like I get it's become somewhat necessary because of how self serving and manipulative people have gotten, but then I ask what's the point.
