Steven managed to keep the original name rather than the crappy name by actually sending the guy who thought of the crappy name a letter telling him that the whole production team got a good laugh at his joke (Steven knew the guy was being serious but had to do this in order to keep the original title so he pretended that he thought it was a joke)

Another testament to Spielbergs genius is the story of how he managed to salvage the situation with Sheinberg. When everyone panicked about Sheinbergs title "Spaceman from Pluto", Spielberg wrote a one line note and sent it to him. It read "Good one Sid" It made Sheinberg realize how goofy the title would have sounded, and so the title went back to B2F. My two cents worth!

Not a secret, but something you probably didn't realize; Considering the events of all three movies, when Marty is in 1955, there are actually four different copies of the time machine there, at least for a short time. The first is the one that Marty uses to go back to 1955 in the first film. The second is the one that old Biff takes from 2015 in order to give the sports almanac to his younger self in the second film. The third is the one that Marty & Doc use to go back to 1955 from the alternate 1985 in the second film. And the fourth is the one that has been hidden in the cave since 1885 by Doc in the third movie.

Back to The Future is my all time favorite movie. I started watching when I was 7 and now I am 37. I know it line for line. I used to watch it every night. *I've never heard anyone mention the 88 MPH. Why this was chosen.* Did Doc choose that # or was it the speed required?? Basically, I theorize it is possible that Doc may have chosen the speed of 88 MPH purposefully for temporal displacement. Either way, *has anyone noticed 88 is two infinity symbols??* I always caught that, but never heard it mentioned once. I am sure of all the speeds the writers could have chosen, this is most likely indeed the reason.

For Fox and filming both Family Ties and Back to the Future, I've heard he has a quote that says something along the lines of "I'm 20, I don't need to sleep" I'm pretty nerdy when it comes to this Trilogy, It never fails to make me smile when I watch it, and there's things that I still didn't know about it. MJF was filming both BTTF and Family Ties at the same damn time. He did not get a whole lot of sleep, 2-3 hours a night. That can dramatically weaken the immune system. Also, in BTTF Part 3, he was ACCIDENTLY hanged for 15, 20, 25 seconds, something like that, in the scene where the villain lynches him. Filming the scene, there was an accident. Michael was hanging, and loss consciousness. Think about the fact that those two situations could cause problems with the human body, especially the brain. Perhaps this would explain his diagnosis of Parkinson's disease a few years later. It would probably stand to reason.
@TheSP33DFREAK4 жыл бұрын

As for #5. You stated. *"Back to the Future II has some parts that take place in 2015. So it's kind of funny to see what the filmmakers thought the world would look like now, compared to how it actually turned out."* Actually the writers stated *they made the future so outlandish, they never planned to get any of it right* by a long shot. *The writers said they purposefully went over the top with the flying cars, hoverboards, etc. They didn't want to get it wrong.* Most people are unaware of this fact. Not to nitpick, but if you are doing a video on things "we didn't know about BTTF", you kind of need to get that part right. *Most everyone complains about BTTF 2015 never happening like the film. Well, it was never intended, that is the point.* Just a bit of info.

Back to the Future is probably my favorite trilogy in history. One of the very few series where each movie has it's own individual story that is told well. And, even though Back to the Future II ends with a cliffhanger, it's not a movie that was basically one big set up for Back to the Future III, which is a mistake lots of trilogies these days make. They do the first film, then when it's successful and they get the green light to make it a trilogy, they just use the 2nd movie to set up for the 3rd movie. Love the video guys! Great work as always. There's a reason this is my favorite KZbin channel. Would love to see a 2nd if you've got it, and would enjoy a Who Framed Roger Rabbit one as well.

I can only imagine Shineburg's Spaceman from Pluto suggestion was purely out of misunderstanding of what the movie was about. Being so far up the ladder, I doubt he had any idea what the movies his underlings' underlings were managing were about. Kind of like how CEO's don't know much about the products their subdvision captians are in charge of. Or like how basically anyone not directly involved in any office project doesn't know anything about that project... Or like how 60% of people directly involved in the project don't know anything about the project. Spielberg probably walked in an diplomatically stated "the movie's about time travel, not aliens" and did the 80's equivalent of a mic drop and left.
