I feel really bad for the homeless woman. Even if she had gotten the money, there was still the possibility of her blowing it on her addiction. But it also could have turned her life around. Just a very sad situation. Hope her children are doing alright regardless of if they get the money.

Your information on #9 Sarah Sterns case is wrong in several places, most notably the money was from her mother who had passed & she held most of it in a deposit box & a little at home in a safe. Also his accomplice was Sarah's former prom date. Please fact check before you post thank you.

I’ve heard this story before so I clicked on it thinking I would get more details on it, didn’t expect for some of those main details to be wrong.

Quite a shallow remark by someone who does not know the actual story. Try not to see things too superficial. You will miss out special things in life with that type of perspective. It’s never too late to learn.

@@HelioPopTart what’s the lesson? That some rich lady loved her animal more than her own grandkids. Well lesson learned🤨
@HelioPopTart3 жыл бұрын
@@solastranded1744 Not exactly. It's a bit deep, but I'll try my best to explain from the prespective of the person. Love can be obtain everywhere. It does not necessary mean your descendents will be able to prove the love and nurture everyone needs/deserve. When you live alone for many years and your grandkids do not come to visit you, there is no logical or rational reason why you would provide your fortune to people who do not care about you. A love from a animal can be equal to or greater. There is no code or black or white line that says people should do this or do that. The act by the person is to ensure the loving companion that had continue the journey until the end of their time, that they would still be provided the care that the owner would have tried to provide when they were alive. Love has no boundries. It is selfish and close minded to think there is an order and people have to follow particular rules. The universe has no such rules. To live with such rules ensure the person to live within limits. Limits will not allow you to discover your potential and it is up to the person decide what they can and cant do but also acknowledge the restrictions place by society. You can do what you want, but actions have consequences. Why would anyone give their money to a well looked after grandkids who has no relationship with them? The dearest thing in the world for this lady was her dog. Humans are emotional creatures and without the entire details of the person's life we can only speculate and assume. Generally that leads to errors and conclusions that may not be the truth. No dispect intended.

What disgusts me, is people think because they are blood related, they have rights to someone's money. There was a reason for what he did. His money. Even If the reason just being he didn't like their hair cut. He made the money. Way too many entitled people.

So much bull that a court can change a persons will as they see fit. They should have no day over someone’s will or changing the beneficiaries of life insurance policies. It should be very obvious that it gives them the power to abuse these privileges. Just because someone is a judge, it doesn’t mean that they’re a good or moral person. And over time, even hood, honest people can change when they get burned out. It just should be illegal for anyone to tamper with the wishes of someone who had died, no matter what the decedent has asked to be done with their estate.
