In this video, we go through Michael Jordan's savageness of times where he humiliated his opponent. Michael historically is known for his trash-talking abilities to other nba players but sometimes he takes it to new levels.

When MJ retired in 1993 I was in the fourth grade, and the teachers shut down class to let us watch his press conference live, citing the historical relevancy of the moment. I will never forget that, because few athletes will ever have that kind of impact.

There have been great offensive players, great defense of players, and some who did both occasionally. What made Michael the best player ever was not just that he could do both, but it was his effort and mentality and it rubbed off on his teammates.

Oh it didn’t just rub off. He demanded it, from them. He took some at the time above average guys and turned them all into superstars because he wouldn’t tolerate anything less than success, and turned the rest of his team into superstars by that mindset. The man’s work ethic makes god question himself about taking that day off. Truly the best example of if you have enough drive and consistency and passion you can achieve anything you set your eyes on. Jordan turned the NBA into a global phenomenon. To the caliber it is today. The first European tour they did, at the time euro league was essentially nonexistent, barely anyone watched or knew or cared about the sport and the man had people, who never saw or cared or played the game of basketball amassing by the thousands outside stadiums to get a glimpse of Jordan. My dad was a sports photographer and covered him basically all his career and some of the footage that didn’t make the tv or documentaries is amazing.

More than any other team in the eastern conference, the Bad Boy Pistons were the arch-nemesis of the Jordan-era Bulls. And when the Bulls finally got past them, it was like there wasn't anyone else who could match up. In the late 90s, Sports Illustrated ran a cover in which a grinning cartoon caricature of Jordan the giant loomed over his tiny opponents, holding the ball out above their heads just out of reach to taunt them.

90s NBA was just awesome. Obviously Jordan is the greatest, but there was just so much star power in the NBA in the 90s; Pippen, Ewing, Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Shaq, Miller. Kobe was great in the 2000s, but after Jordan retired in '98 and the rest of the stars around him during that time started fading it just kinda took something out of the NBA that it's never really been able to re-capture.

Exactly.... MJ23 put on the greatest show on earth when he hit the hardwood. That's what LeBron don't understand. He had the perfect swagger to go along with the perfect skill-set. You're either born like that or you're not. The NBA is what it is today because of the "Jordan Era." Some idiots say LeBron revolutionized the league but you can't revolutionize something that has already been revolutionized. LeBron today is struggling to win and has had more talent helping him than MJ23 ever had. When broadcasters today speak about their top three.... To not have Jordan as your number one... That's utter disrespect for that man and everything he has done for the league. I started watching basketball and fell in love with the game because of MJ23. When the "last dance" was done, I never watched basketball the same again and to this day, I rarely watch it. Kobe, LeBron, KD, Curry..... None of those guys can put on a show the way MJ did.
