Tara Sun I loved when you were talking about being intentional and having ur priorities in check, bc that’s so so important. Like you were saying with that guy, he was nice but didn’t have the qualities that are sooo important to you and that build a good foundation for a Christian relationship. Also praying about it. Like just always praying for that person, I haven’t done that in a minute and I really really should get back on that. Thank you for the other great great reminders and tips as well!! How long did you wait before telling the guy you were interested in that you are abstinent? I'm not sure if this is something I should be upfront about(as in, before a date), or wait until I know him better. Thanks :)

I personally think that it’s best to tell your person upfront that you want to abstain from premarital sex. It’s important for both sides to be clear with intentions from the start so that neither people are expecting something from the other person that they’re not going to get. Like with staying abstinent, you want the person you’re interesting in dating to know that you don’t plan on having sex until marriage so that they know not to expect sex from you.
